Martha Stewart may know how to make a shiv out of papier-mache, but apparently she can't make good reality TV. CNN is reporting that NBC has decided not to pick up her show for a second season.
In case you've been under a rock, the show followed Trump's "Apprentice" formula, as Martha searched for her own domestic double. According to the network, they had only planned to do one year of the show anyway. My guess is that if it were a raging success, they would manage to squeeze more out of this lemon.
Matters may not have been helped by Trump's recent public tantrums, insisting that the idea that he had originally backed was a blunder from the get-go. Maybe Martha can make lemonade out of Trump's sour grapes.
