Lloyd Bochner Dies

bochner.jpgUSA Today is reporting that actor Lloyd Bochner has died at the age of 81. Some of you may know him for his roles on "Hotel" or "Batman," but a lot of you would definitely know him as "that guy" -- the guy that you definitely recognize, but might not know by name.

Bochner died of cancer at his home in Santa Monica on October 29. He had such a lengthy career, that I can't even go into it all here. He may not have always grabbed the spotlight, but the man did work for five decades -- no small feat. Despite his many TV and movie roles, my favorite will always be his short, but sweet, stint as one of the Colbys from "Dynasty."

He was also active off-screen as a founding member of the Committee to End Violence, which tackled the impact of violence in TV and movies on popular culture. He is survived by his wife and three children. -- Rachel Cericola
