Lisa Loeb Gets Reality Show

Some people look at Lisa Loeb as sort of a "feminist" singer. Wonder how those same people will feel about her new reality show. TV Week says that she has signed on for "#1 Single," a series that follows the quirky cutie as she gets back into the dating scene.

Loeb definitely has small-screen appeal, recently starring with then-boyfriend Dweezil Zappa in "Dweezil & Lisa" for the Food Network. Not sure what to think about this news. One the one hand, I thought she was sort of above this kind of programming -- especially for E! Also, I just thought her and Dweezil were a cute couple.

"I decided to do this TV series because what I do as a musician and songwriter is connect to an audience, so why not take that to another level," says Loeb. I am going to have to trust her on this one.
