"Heaven's" Gates Closing

7thheaven.jpgLooks like those pearly gates are going to have a big "closed" sign on them soon. The Hollywood Reporter says that the WB is cancelling "7th Heaven" after 10 years on the air.

The show is the longest running family drama in TV history and it also gave us Jessica Biel, who was recently voted Esquire's sexiest woman alive. So I guess the WB did something right.

The end was really no surprise; there were rumors that this could be the last season from the start. However, the show still performs highly for the network, averaging a little over five million viewers each week.

"7th Heaven" airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on the WB. -- Rachel Cericola

Editor's Note: As of May 18, 2006, "7th Heaven" has been picked up for an 11th season. Check out the CW's fall lineup for showdates and times.
