Dick Wolf Hires "Conviction" Cast

nicholson.jpgIt may not be Vincent D'Onofrio and Chris Noth, but UPI says that casting has begun for Dick Wolf's "Conviction." You know that show -- it's the one that doesn't have "law" or "order" in the title.

NBC's midseason drama, which focuses on a group of young, New York district attorneys, will include Julianne Nicholson and Anson Mount.

Nicholson has had a slew of TV roles, including a one-year stint on "Ally McBeal." Recently she was seen in the critically acclaimed film, "Kinsey," and will be seen next in "Flannel Pajamas."

Mount was last seen on TV in a recent episode of "Lost." He is currently in theaters in the Cameron Diaz flick "In Her Shoes" and has an upcoming role in Snoop Dogg's "Hood of Horror."

No word on when "Conviction" will air. -- Rachel Cericola
