"CSI:" Crossover

csi_cross.jpgIs that David Caruso buddying up to Gary Sinise? Smells like a sweeps stunt. Zap2it says that some of the "CSI" spin-off regulars will cross paths in next week's episodes.

Of course, William Petersen is too cool for that -- and his ratings don't need the help, frankly. So we will only have a crossover for the New York- and Miami-based casts, when a killing spree leaves bodies up and down the east coast. Rumor has it: we can expect a pretty high body count -- they don't call it a "spree" for nothin'!

Anthony Zuiker, the guy that created the whole franchise, co-wrote the two episodes. It will be the first time that Caruso and Sinise have shared screen time since Sinise was introduced.

The story kicks off in Monday's "CSI: Miami" episode at 10:00 p.m. (EST) The plot thickens and concludes on "CSI: New York" on Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. Both shows air on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola
