"The Apprentice" Goes L.A.

dtrump.jpgGo West, old man. That seems to be the mantra for Donald Trump's "The Apprentice." The New York Post says that the sixth installment of the NBC reality competition will head out to LA. Sounds like someone is grasping at straws; otherwise, why is this news?

Martha Stewart may be out, but the Donald will definitely be back. As far as the location change, is it that big of a deal? My guess is that there are as many sniveling weasels looking to claw ahead on that coast as there are here. Surprisingly, the show is still kind of competitive amongst "affulent viewers" who apparently don't watch Nielsen king "CSI." Producers are hoping the new setting will inject some life into this bored-room. I am guessing Melania just wants to tan.

"The Apprentice" airs every Thursday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola
