"Alias" Gets "Lost" Lead-in

sydney.jpgIt's hard to save the world when you can't even save yourself. Now that "Alias" has moved to Thursdays, the competition is a little stiff, so the Futon Critic is reporting that they are getting a little help.

Beginning December 7, ABC is planning to move the action drama to a cushy spot right after mega-hit "Lost." It had better not get too comfortable though; it's only for the final two weeks before the show goes on hiatus.

SPOILER AHEAD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Another juicy little nugget that they also reported: what to expect for your favorite heroine and her new set of sidekicks. Apparently Sydney (Jennifer Garner) is thrust into a hypnotic state in an effort to squeeze out some of her secrets. Her captor is someone we will all recognize. They say it's "a familiar face with a vested interest in Syndey's future and the future of her unborn child." Hmmm... could Michael Vartan be coming back? That's been the rumor.

"Alias" is going on hiatus while star Garner finishes out her pregnancy. The fifth season will wrap up in the spring. Until the timeshift, "Alias" will air in its regular timeslot: Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC.
