VH1 Encourages Celebs to "Sing"

pants.jpgI feel pretty, oh so pretty, I feel pretty, and witty and -- sick. Reality TV World says that VH1 is launching "But Can They Sing?" Formerly known as "Celebrity Pop Superstar," some say it's like a celebrity version of "American Idol." I liken it to a one-time episode of "The Surreal Life," except the celebrities really embarrass themselves here. Did no one watch the Emmys?

Nine celebrities have fully admitted to hitting rock bottom by signing up for this. God love them. The lineup includes Morgan Fairchild, Antonio Sabato, Jr., Bai Ling, Kim Alexis, Larry Holmes and Joe Pantaliano. Joey Pants? Maybe they stuffed his head in that bowling ball bag to muffle his practicing.

Like "Idol," America will pick the winner here, by voting online, text messaging and calling in. The winner gets cash for their favorite charity.

"But Can They Sing?" premieres Sunday, October 30 at 10: 00 p.m. (EST) on VH1. -- Rachel Cericola
