USA Network is about to enter "Virgin" territory. TV Week is reporting that the cable network has bested the bigger boys, acquiring the rights to air "40 Year-Old Virgin," the summer blockbuster starring Steve Carell.
The movie was one of the bigger blockbusters of the summer, producing a haul of about $104 million. That's no small feat, considering it didn't have any Cruises, Crowes or Brangelina.
The movie is part of a bigger deal, which includes rights to the Kate Hudson thriller "The Skeleton Key" and Joss Whedon's "Serenity." Expect those two to air sometime in 2008. -- Rachel Cericola
