Tara Correa-McMullen Dies

mcmullen.jpgABC News is reporting that Tara Correa-McMullen has been shot to death. She was only 16.

The actress, who also went by Tara Correa, first got her break at the age of 14. She won the role of a gang member on the TV show "Judging Amy." She reprised the role several times over the past two years. Recently, she starred alongside Martin Lawrence in the kiddie comedy, "Rebound."

Police say Correa was shot several times while standing outside an apartment complex in Inglewood on October 21. Two other people were wounded. The police have no leads. -- Rachel Cericola

People don't deserve to die so short. she didn't even do a thing. God bless her soul and keep her family safe. I feel so bad. RIP

Yes it is sad to see someone young be murdered. But facts are facts, she was a gang member who quit acting roles so she could hang out with her gang member friends. Did she do anything to be killed, who knows, but being part of a gang is a risk that she chose as opposed to becoming a future star!

I never heard any definite reports that she was a gang member. She did, however, play one on TV.

she wasn't in a gang, she played a gang memeber on t.v. who changed her ways.. she will be sorely missed and may she rest in peace

What a beautiful and talented young person Tara was. May God bless her family and loved ones. May her soul rest in peace. I'm sorry she never got a chance to live out her dreams.

She was so beautiful inside and out! It's really sad that she didn't really get a chance to do her thing as much as she was looking foward to. God bless her friends and family who loved her dearly!

I know that any life either young or old is sad to see it end. But it's even painful when it's a younger person that has so much to live for. It doesn't matter if she was in a gang or not. No one deserves to die. May God give comfort to the family and friends.

My son was shot at 17, he was and now is in a gang. He is currently in jail. I think this was a tragedy for this young beautiful girl and her family. But, if she was in a gang, which i dont think she was. The part she played on Judging Amy was very real......I just hope that she wasnt really in a gang and did not really cause the heart ache to her parents that my son has done to this family.

NOBOD DESERVES TO LOSE THEIR LIFE SO EARLY, MUCH LESS TO TAKE ANYONE ELSES LIFE AWAY...SHE WAS TRYNA GET HER LIFE RITE AND LEAVIN THE GANG THANG ALONE BUT FOR IT TO COME BAK TO THAT....GOD MUST HAV A BIGGER PLAN FOR HER...R.I.P.

I was very sad when I read about her death...actually, should it really be called a death? she was shot to death, so wasn't she murdered? may God bring her family comfort in their time of mourning.
