"Strong Medicine" Gets Discharged

Looks like the medical business isn't what it used to be. After 132 episodes, TV Week says that Lifetime is canceling "Strong Medicine."

It's been six years, and the network says they think it's run its course. The show, which stars Rick Schroder and Rosa Blasi, still averages about 2.5 million. Those numbers are up about 10 percent from last season. Sounds like someone in programming needs a doctor -- stat!

The show is the longest-running original series for basic cable. Until early 2006, "Strong Medicine" will continue to air on Lifetime every Sunday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) -- Rachel Cericola

You cant cancell the show. i just started watching it and i luv it!!!!!! Where can i buy all the seasons?

I cannot believe this, i didn't even know that it was cancelled. I remember turning on Lifetime one night and there it was, i was hooked, i can't live my nights without watching Golden Girls, and my new fave tv show Strong Medicine. Then i find out i am watching re runs, how can you do this to us? Bring it back, now, you are going to loose people because of this. Alright, keep it up Lifetime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How dare you take Strong Medicine away from me? I love Lu (Rosa Blasi)!!! If there is anyway that you can bring it back or at least release all the seasons that would be awesome.
