Spike Gets "Star Wars"

yoda.jpgIf the geeks out there don't know where Spike TV is on the cable lineup, you'd better get familiar. Variety is reporting that the "first network for men" has made a deal that will allow them to air all six "Star Wars" movies.

The $65 to $70 million deal will get them six years of exclusive rights to run each of the six films. Expect to see the format go to all-Ewoks, all the time. Gotta get their money's worth!

"Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" is scheduled to air on Spike TV in April 2008. The first five titles have already aired on FOX, but will be enter Spike's rotation in the same timeframe. -- Rachel Cericola
