How do you get UK funnyman Ricky Gervais to guest star on your show? Just offer to pay his airfare. The TV Squad is reporting that Gervais agreed to star on an upcoming episode of FOX's "Arrested Development" after the cast offered to pay his way.
Rumor has it that producers didn't want to pony up the dough at first. I can't believe this is true. Then again, I didn't think "The Littlest Groom" could be a real TV show either.
Thankfully the cheap bastards involved decided to pay up. No word on when he will appear. To get your fix of Gervais, check out his HBO show, "Extras." It airs Sundays at 10:30 p.m. (EST).
"Arrested Development" airs Mondays at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on FOX. -- Rachel Cericola
