NBC Gets Wolf's "Conviction"

wolf.jpgNBC didn't care for "Law & Order: Trial by Jury," but they're not giving up on creator Dick Wolf. Broadcasting & Cable is reporting that the network has ordered 13 episodes of his latest drama.

The midseason replacement isn't another "Law & Order." The one-hour series, titled "Conviction," focuses on something we can all relate to -- the lives of young New York attorneys. I know it's a winning formula, but aren't some of the networks looking more like Court TV?

Casting and a premiere date have not been announced. -- Rachel Cericola
