Wednesdays are a rough night for TV -- unless you are ABC. A juggernaut/Emmy winner like "Lost" can anchor an entire evening. In an effort to boost ratings for "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart," TV Week says that NBC is swapping her timeslot with the new Benjamin Bratt/Dennis Hopper drama, "E-Ring."
"E-Ring" moves to 8:00 p.m. (EST), with Stewart following right after. Neither show has exactly lit the TV world on fire, ratings-wise. However, Stewart really gets the raw end of this deal, having to go up against "Lost."
Domestic divas in training shouldn't be too bummed. Stewart still has her daytime show, the media empire, and buzz of yet another TV show in the works.
The new Wednesday schedule kicks off this week on NBC. One thing they won't touch: "Law & Order" is staying right where it is at 10:00 p.m. No need to mess with perfection! -- Rachel Cericola
