Just Canned: "Just Legal"

legal.jpgNo one seems to like lawyers these days. Hot on the heels of the cancellation of FOX's "Head Cases," Broadcasting & Cable says that the WB has chopped "Just Legal" from its lineup.

I understand. After playing Sonny Crocket for so many years, it's hard to see Don Johnson with a tie. Also, Jay Baruchel ("Undeclared") is no Tubbs. The plot about a crotchety defense attorney pairing up with the Doogie Howser of the legal community apparently didn't help either.

"Just Legal" lasted just three weeks. That has to be a WB record! The show also ran on TNT, so expect it to be cut from there as well. The WB will replace it with a repeat of "Related" this Monday. No word on what will permanently fill the timeslot.

Too bad it's cancelled. It was the best of the new shows.

"Just Legal" was a surprisingly good show. I was disappointed and a little shocked to find it was cancelled so soon. Just when I thought I'd found something different than the "usual" to tune into, poof!, it's gone. Too bad.

I admit it was a surprise to see Sonny/Nash as a bumbling drunk lawyer who had to have a kid be his concience but I was just starting to warm up to it and Wow, it's gone. It has to take more than 3 weeks to make a decision of that magnitude?? Just Legal had potential. Give it a decent chance!! p.s. drop the non secretary with the extreme attitude, that would help.

Too bad they dont ask anyone. I thought it was about time that Johnson came back into something new and this was a good comeback. I liked to watch this show very much.

This was the best show on WB. Granted it didn't match the "quality" of the other WB shows such as Supernatural and Charmed, but it was very funny. I sure hope TNT picks it up and runs the other four episodes that have been completed.

I would have say that the story line in the first episode was a little shaky to begin with, maybe even vague an unbelievable. The second episode did seem to restore my hopes of this becoming a good show, by a small margin. I may have even been a little put off by the "doogie houser-esk" main character being paired up with the reject cast members of Miami vice. The third episode; however, did manage to peak my interest, and just I "wanted" to watch the show again, a group of network boobs canceled the show. I am of course, pleasantly dis-satisfied with the re-runs they chose to replace it with. A story about the lives of two dung beetles would be more entertaining (that is not a show idea). Perhaps the WB should consider another abbreviation for their company, one that describes their product, namely S.H.I.T.

Put the show back on. We see related on Wednesdays, we don't need to see the same episode every monday. Just Legal only have Las Vegas, 2 1/2 men, and sports to compete with. Why can't we keep a good family show on for once? I'm sick of all the repetative reality series, and slutty shows that are on every channel at every time. This was a good quality show, that had better acting in it than Supernatural, and 7th Heaven, which has been on for 10 years. And the only reason why I watch that, is because there is nothing better on, and it's a Christian family show. Hopefully ya'll will come to your senses, if you have any, and put the show back on.

I should have seen it coming, every time a new
show comes on that is really good the idiots in
charge cancel it. "Just Legal" was just too good
to last. I guess they must make more room for the idiotic shows that the "Boobs" that watch the tube will watch. I can't believe that any
person with a mind can actually watch all those
fraudulent "reality shows"

See the light and bring back "Just Legal"

A viewer that actualy thinks!

I really loved the show. Am really disappointed that it's canceled. Give it another chance.

What is wrong with these people cancelling all of the good shows such as:

Just Legal
Pepper Dennis

And what about the shows they are about to cancel:

Yes Dear
King of Queens

I wish they would just leave the good shows alone, and take off the ones that make no sense.

King of Queens is scheduled to return this year.
