Expect More "Invasion"

invasion.jpgPrepare yourself for more "Invasion." Broadcast & Cable says that ABC has ordered a full season of the sci-fi-themed drama.

The show, created by former "Tiger Beat" coverboy, Shaun Cassidy, generated a bit of buzz right before it premiere. It's all about a post-hurricane town in Florida. Sound familiar? The network was worried that people might be offended. Guess not. However, this storm didn't just bring destruction; it left something special and supernatural behind as a keepsake.

Averaging over 12 million viewers in the first few weeks, ABC has upped their original order to a total of 22 episodes for this season. Not too shabby, although it does have a sweet spot, right after uber-hit "Lost."

"Invasion" airs every Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola
