Court TV Gets Splash of Waters

waters.jpgDirector John Waters is no stranger to unique projects. So it might make perfect sense that he is hosting Court TV's first scripted series, a murder-mystery anthology titled "Til Death Do Us Part."

Broadcasting & Cable says that Court TV has ordered 12 episodes of the show, which will dramatize real-life cases of spousal murder. It has sort of an Alfred Hitchcock/"Twilight Zone" feel to it. Waters portrays -- who else? -- "The Groom Reaper." He's just awesome, isn't he?

Waters was last seen on camera in 2004's "Seed of Chucky." The TV show will start shooting in New York this month. Expect the show to start airing on Court TV in the first quarter of 2006. -- Rachel Cericola
