A lot of people considered the May/December romance of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore to be a total joke. Now they have a laugh track to accompany the tabloid-topping madness. ABC News says that Kutcher will be producing a new sitcom, which might sound vaguely familiar.
The purveyor of "Punk'd" and "Beauty and the Geek" is producing the pilot "30 Year Old Grandpa" for FOX. The half-hour comedy is about a 30-year-old man who marries an older woman and becomes stepfather to kids that are almost his age. He says it's not based on their lives. Well, he isn't that close to Demi's oldest child Rumer, who is 17, and the show is set in Chicago. Also, the fictional daughter, who is 22, winds up unmarried and pregnant. Sounds hilarious. Seriously though: It's not based on their lives? Are we all being punk'd?
No word on casting or when the show will make it to air. -- Rachel Cericola
