All Hail "Commander in Chief"

chief.jpgGeorge Bush should take note: President Allen's approval ratings are through the roof. Zap2it says ABC's new drama "Commander in Chief" will serve a full term.

The network has ordered an additional nine episodes, making it a full season. It had to be a landslide: The show has averaged over 16 million viewers since it premiered in September, giving it a cushy, consistent spot in the top 10 for the week.

The show stars Oscar winner Geena Davis as Mackenzie Allen, the first female president. Aside from dealing with her husband, twin teens and a six-year-old, she doesn't exactly have support from her own party at work. Emmy/Golden Globe winner Donald Sutherland costars.

"Commander in Chief" airs Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola
