TV's "Gilligan" Dies

denver.jpgABC News is reporting that Bob Denver, better known as TV's Gilligan, has died at the age of 70.

Although a cause of death has not been formally announced, Denver had quadruple heart bypass surgery earlier this year.

Even though he wore that goofy Gilligan hat way into his elder years, I will always remember him as the even more goofy beatnik, Maynard G. Krebs, from "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis." -- Rachel Cericola

Gillian's Island was always one of my favorite
shows as a kid growing up. This show was on
when television was fun to watch, just mindless
entertainment. God, how I miss the old days!

I think you mean "Gilligan."

Few people can boast having two memorable tv characters on their resumes and in the hearts of people everywhere. The only other one I can think of is Ron Howard (Opie and Richie). The world was a much simpler place and I really miss it. He was loved very much and I will really miss HIM too.

Guys! This is only Gilligan for the love of God! There tens of thousands dead in the southern part of the country. WHO CARES ABOUT BOB DENVER!?

Thanks Jason! Just typing too fast I guess...

Greg, What kind of a world do you live in? Your lack of respect for someone at the time of their death is disturbing. Is this what you would want said at the time when you pass away. Your web site indicates that you are a car salesman do you not have any people skills?
