"Thug" Life for HBO

epps.jpgCould there be laughs in the hood? HBO is hoping so. The Hollywood Reporter says that the cable network is working on a new half-hour comedy, "The Unsuccessful Thug."

The show takes one camera and follows star Mike Epps from his failed Hollywood journey all the way back to the hood. No doubt the network is hoping to pull in a new audience -- or any audience, considering no one was interested in Lisa Kudrow's ""he Comeback."

Epps was recently seen in the big-screen adaptation of "The Honeymooners." Check out his IMDB.com entry for more info and photos. -- Rachel Cericola
