Rosie Perez Makes TV Deal

perez.jpgLooks like Fran Drescher won't be the only one with a nails-on-the-chalkboard voice and a sitcom. The Hollywood Reporter says that Rosie Perez has signed a one-year holding deal with FOX.

The rumor is that the network is eyeing her for a sitcom. Of course, nothing is set in stone and holding deals don't mean anything will actually make it to the air.

Perez has been plenty busy though, recently starring in the HBO hit "Lackawanna Blues." Check out her IMDB.com entry for more information and photos. -- Rachel Cericola
