John Stamos to Appear on "ER"

Determined to distinguish itself from the growing lineup of hospital-related shows, the TV Squad says that "ER" is getting a shot of super-hunk John Stamos this fall.

Stamos is not checking in for good though. He's still shooting the not-so-must-see ABC sitcom "Jake in Progress," which will pick up again in January. Stamos' stint on "ER" will last for two episodes during November sweeps. He plays a flirtatious paramedic/medical student/Gulf War vet. Go Uncle Jesse!

The 12th season of "ER" debuts Thursday, September 22 at 10:00 p.m. on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola
