It didn't take the jury too long to deliberate on this one. After just two episodes, the Futon Critic says that FOX has cut "Head Cases."
It seemed like a good idea. Chris O'Donnell is a name. Adam Goldberg is a name. Unfortunately, the show was crap and couldn't make a name for itself. Billed as a legal drama (hey -- we have so few of those!), the commercials made it look like an unfunny, wacky buddy comedy.
A little over six million people turned in for the show's debut, and about half of them decided it wasn't worth the second look.
FOX has even already ripped down the show's Web site -- that's cold! They're not even planning to burn off the four shows that didn't air. Instead the network will fill the slot with crowd-pleasers like "Nanny 911" and "Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy." Now that's the FOX we know and love.

Half didn't show up for the second show? TRue - although it was still over 3 million. I actually loved the first episode but forgot it was on for the second show and missed it.
Wasn't it also up against 'Lost'? Geez, what do they expect then? From what I recall, "Cheers" did pretty crappy in the ratings for its first entire year, and it sure turned out OK...
I liked Head Cases and wish they'd given it a *chance* at least. Idiots.
Just my 2 cents. Great post. :)

For God's sake why would anyone want to watch Nanny 911 or Trading Spouses, meet your new Mommy?? Typical Fox, cancel decent stuff like Head Cases and Arrested Development and keep the crap.
