Good vs. Evil = Comedy for NBC

andyrichter.jpgWho would have thought that the guy behind FOX failures "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" and "Life on a Stick" would be such a hot commodity? The Hollywood Reporter says that after a furious bidding war with ABC, NBC has signed writer/producer Victor Fresco to develop a new sitcom.

The show focuses around a 20-something guy that discovers his that his life is a vicious battle between forces representing good and evil. No wonder the networks could relate.

It sounds funny, but this is also the guy that helmed "The New Monkees."

No word on when the show will begin development. Fresco recently worked as a consulting producer on "The Office." For more info, check out his entry. -- Rachel Cericola
