FOX Loves Chachi

winkler.jpgOK -- so he's not an Oscar winner. But if babes were awards, then Scott Baio could act circles around Charlize Theron. Maybe that's why the TV Squad is reporting is that Baio is the second actor to recently get tapped for the third season of FOX's "Arrested Development."

Baio is also the third former member of "Happy Days" to be associated with the sitcom. Ron Howard serves as producer/narrator, and Baio will be replacing former mentor Henry "The Fonz" Winkler, who was a huge hit as Bluth family lawyer Barry Zuckercorn over the first two seasons. Unfortunately, Fonzie has jumped ship over to CBS for his own series, "Out of Practice." Baio will take it from there. So far, he is only signed on for one episode.

"We're thrilled to have Chachi here," said Will Arnett (Gob Bluth) in an interview with E! Online. "I'm hoping Pat Morita is next."

The third season of "Arrested Development" premieres Monday, September 19 at 8:00 p.m. on FOX. -- Rachel Cericola
