Brad Garrett wasn't just cracking jokes during the Emmys the other night. The Hollywood Reporter says that a spin-off might be in the works for the super-sized sitcom star.
Rumors have been circulating about an "Everybody Loves Raymond" spin-off before the hit show even finished its run, but never seemed to materialize. Now with the state of the sitcom being pondered, negotiations are starting to heat up.
The show would focus on Garrett's character, Robert, as well as his wife Amy and their proper in-laws. If the show makes it to air, I assume that Georgia Engel and Fred Willard would reprise their roles. One word of advice: Grab Chris Elliot too!
No word on whether the show will go to pilot or when a decision would be made. -- Rachel Cericola
