Celebs Sit In for "Movies 101"

scorsese.jpgIf you're tired of watching James Lipton pucker up to various celebrities, flip over to AMC on Friday night. Cynopsis says that the cable network is launching "Movies 101 with Professor Richard Brown."

The show seems to be a blatant rip-off of Bravo's "Inside the Actor's Studio." But Brown has credentials; he's been teaching an adult film class, "Movies 101," at New York University since 1967.

The series launches Friday at 10:30 p.m. (EST) with guest Martin Scorsese. Upcoming guests include Jennifer Aniston, Willem Dafoe, and Kevin Kline. AMC has ordered a total of nine episodes so far. -- Rachel Cericola
