"24" Moved to Mid-January

24.jpgFOX is adjusting the clocks on "24." Zap2it is reporting that the fifth season of the hit drama is getting pushed one week, making the new premiere date January 15.

Expect good things, with a four-hour, two-night extravaganza, which will also mark the show's 100th episode. The fifth hour of this season will put the show into its regular timeslot, Monday, January 23 at 9:00 p.m. (EST)

Talk about a time warp: The show picks up 18 months after last season ended -- and it's felt like it! Jack Bauer is supposedly dead, but actually living with a woman and her son. Also expect new faces including Jean Smart ("Designing Women") and Sean Astin ("The Lord of the Rings"). Sounds like it will be worth the wait! -- Rachel Cericola
