As if Hurricane Katrina wasn't enough to clear a city, MSNBC is reporting that a shooting in Miami has left MTV Video Music Awards' goers in a little less of a party mood.
Death Row Records founder and proven badass Suge Knight was shot in the leg Sunday morning at a party thrown by Kayne West. No arrests have been made and there are no suspects. Does anyone know where Vanilla Ice was?
Paris Hilton, Eddie Murphy and a slew of other members in the celebrity party posse were unharmed. MTV has said that the shooting would not affect tonight's broadcast, which will be hosted by the newly condensed Diddy.
The "2005 Video Music Awards" will air tonight at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on MTV. MTV's pre-event coverage starts at 6:00 p.m. (EST) -- Rachel Cericola
