John Leguizamo Joins "ER"

leguizamo.jpgNoah Wyle signed out at the end of last season. Now "ER" is really going to be buggin'. The TV Squad says that actor/comedian John Leguizamo has been admitted to County for 12 episodes this season.

Leguizamo will star as Ernesto Clemente, a doctor dynamo who shakes up the ER with his crazy ideas and cutting-edge technology. His first episode is scheduled to air October 20, 2005.

The Colombian-born star has appeared in tons of films including "Carlito's Way" and more recently, "Land of the Dead." He's working on a few other projects, including 2006's "The Groomsman."

This announcement comes on the heels of the news that "3rd Rock from the Sun" star Kristen Johnson is also checking in -- but for a full season's shift.

The 12th season of "ER" debuts Thursday, September 22 at 10:00 p.m. on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola

Rachel Cericola, the word Columbian-born is incorrect....the name of the country located in South America is COLOMBIA, not Columbia.

You are correct! Sometimes I type too fast. I will fix that now. Sheesh... if you want to pick on me, check out my Emmy predictions...
