For every "Littlest Groom" and "Temptation Island," FOX seems to do something that makes me think the network isn't run by monkeys. Roller-skating, cigar-smoking monkeys, maybe.
Well hail to the chimp! The Hollywood Reporter says that FOX has bought a half-house sitcom from Ivan Reitman. With all of the so-called comedies out there today, it's nice to see that they've actually tapped someone with experience. Reitman is one of the guys that brought you such classic as "Ghostbusters," "Stripes" and "Old School." Check out his bio at IMDB.com if you're still not convinced.
"That Guy" focuses on a thirty-something who decides to live his life like a 21-year-old. There's no denying that laughs will ensue. No word on stars, scripts or a production schedule. If the show makes it to air, Reitman will also serve as executive producer. -- Rachel Cericola
Oh... I could go on! The guy must have the golden touch. Or he's just in the right place at the right time. He was also a producer for "Animal House."
