Eva Longoria Hurt on the Set

ABC News is reporting that Eva Longoria was hurt on the set while filming an upcoming episode of "Desperate Housewives." It was nothing too serious, but she was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Apparently, Longoria was "bumped on the head by something" while shooting. Stop frothing at the mouth -- there were no cast catfights at the time. Rumor has it that a pole fell on the petite starlet.

The injury will not affect the hit show's shooting schedule, the upcoming season or any of the multiple magazine covers Longoria keeps popping up on.

"Desperate Housewives" will premiere Sunday, September 25 on ABC in its regular timeslot at 9:00 p.m. (EST) -- Rachel Cericola
