The Daily Show Goes Overseas

dailyshow.jpgWe steal a lot of their shows, so now it's time to return the favor. CNN Money is reporting that Jon Stewart and his band of merry newscasters are headed overseas. UK broadcaster Channel 4 has bought the rights to syndicate "The Daily Show."

A reduced version of the program already runs on CNN International, but Channel 4 will be the first network to air the entire show. Broadcasters are hoping that viewers of shows like the UK phenomenon "The Office" will latch on and appreciate the show's humor. It's got to do better than the U.S. version of "Coupling," right? -- Rachel Cericola
