Rachel Nichols Joins Alias

dumbNichols.jpgZap2It is reporting that Rachel Nichols has landed a role on this season's installment of "Alias."

Just a few days ago, we reported that Jennifer Garner's pregnancy would be written into the show, along with a new character. That's some quick casting! Nichols will play Rachel Gibson, a technical analyst working for a black ops division of the CIA.

The former model recently starred in the TV drama "The Inside" as well as the remake of "The Amityville Horror" and "Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd." Check out her IMDB.com entry for more information and photos.

The fifth season of "Alias" will premiere in its new timeslot on Thursday, September 29 at 8:00 p.m. (EST) For more "Alias" news, visit TV Fodder's Alias News section. -- Rachel Cericola
