Oprah Makes DVD Debut

Yahoo! has announced that Oprah Winfrey is making the leap to DVD shelves very soon. Kind of funny since she has been there plenty of times. Um, ever heard of a little movie called "The Color Purple?"

If you missed the many episodes of Oprah's favorite things, car giveaways and Tom Cruise mental meltdowns, now you can have them all on one special DVD. "The Oprah Winfrey Show: 20th Anniversary DVD Collection" will also include behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews.

Of course, Oprah does not need the cash. Her entire cut of the DVD sales will be going to Oprah's Angel Network.

Expect the DVD to hit stores in November, just in time for everyone on your "naughty" shopping list. -- Rachel Cericola
