I Spy a Pregnancy

The bump won't have to go undercover after all. Zap2It is reporting that JJ Abrams will be working Jennifer Garner's pregnancy into "Alias" this season.

Supposedly this fifth season will be the last one, so why the hell not? When we last saw Garner as agent Sydney Bristow, she was frolicking with her fiance, Matthew Vaughn (played by her real-life ex Michael Vartan). The new Mrs. Affleck probably won't be fitting into as many skimpy outfits, so rumor has it she will take on a yet-to-be-casted protege.

But don't expect Garner to take a backseat to a new wonder woman. She is currently scheduled to star in each of this season's episodes. "Alias" is scheduled to premiere in its new Thursday night timeslot on September 29 at 8:00 p.m. (EST) For more "Alias" news, visit TV Fodder's Alias News section. -- Rachel Cericola
