Monday Night Football Moves to ESPN

Tom Brady Are you ready for some football? Well you'd better have basic cable. ESPN says it will begin airing Monday Night Football games starting in 2006.

Passing on the pigskin means that ABC will be without football for the first time in 35 seasons. ABC and ESPN are both part of the almighty Disney, but it's kind of a bizarre move, making ABC the only major network not broadcasting any games.

NBC is also utilizing their game faces, taking on the Sunday night broadcasts, which were previously on ESPN. NBC will also get the Super Bowl in 2009 and 2012 as part of a $600 million deal. -- Rachel Cericola
