After all they are buying Chris's album even though he got a premature boot off of idol. I think it's the kids watching idol and making the phone calls (probably with their parent's money) that don't know the talent. But I do agree with you that the judges should vote for the top twelve.

The voting is the same but the judges determine who they will "save" out of the bottom 2. Had that been the case we wouldn't have to suffer through any more "what's her name" and Sanjaya.

Remember, on the first elimination, it was revealed Sanjaya was in the Top 4. I think he's actually one of the top vote getters; they just purposely show him as part of the final two to make people think that he's at the bottom. I guarantee you he's near the top!
