Taylor Hicks Dropped by Label

”taylor.jpg"Looks like Taylor Hicks is the underdog again.

The winner of 2006's "American Idol" was reportedly dropped by his label, J Records. Hicks' self-titled debut album sold a disappointing 699,000 copies, says Reality TV World.

Hicks has said he will go on to record his own music, presumably like he did before winning the show. That's got to sting though.

Season two winner Ruben Studdard recently left the label.
