American Idol: Dallas Auditions

dallas.jpgJust when you thought you were out for the week, they pull you back in -- and for another two hours.

We are only two nights in, and I'm already sick of the season. The producers need to come up with a new way for people to get on camera. Sure, there's actual talent, but do we need another lame-ass singer to tell us what a douche Simon is?

Less lamery and more crazy pimp hats, I say. If you're reading this, you probably already wasted enough of your night. Here are some of our highlights...

• Were Gregory & Mia Tobias singing the same song?
• Why should we care about Bruce Dickson's lack of experience with the ladies?
• I pity the fool that didn't like Pia Easley's audition and Mr. T haircut!
• If Brandon Greene wins, his fingernail collection could strike gold on eBay.
• I feel for that Janis Joplin girl that had the car accident, but I cannot believe that they put her through to the next round. Who knew that Paula would be the sane one?
• Douglas Davidson could be a shoo-in for "American Idol," the serial killer edition.
• Did Simon wink at Kyle Ensley?
• If Simon says you're "sweet," you are lamer than lame.
• Was the chick with the hot pink hair Perez Hilton?
• Now that farmer Drew made it through, can he bust out his fancy baseball cap?
• Renaldo probably doesn't have a strong pimp hand. His hat, however, is another thing.

Paula dancing at the end? The Super Bowl organizers might want to retract on their offer. Rest up friends; the show is airing another two nights next week. -- Rachel Cericola
