Seacrest In for the Emmys

Ryan Seacrest must schmooze more celebrities before breakfast than most interviewers do all day. Just days after we reported on his Super Bowl shindig, E! News says that its golden boy has landed a gig hosting the Emmys.

Of course, this year's Emmys are on Fox. They also apparently don't plan to be funny. Previous hosts include Conan O'Brien, Garry Shandling, and Ellen DeGeneres.

Seacrest will keep his pre-show hosting duties on E! Talk about an exhausting night for the guy. He really is the next Dick Clark!

The 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air live Sunday, September 16 on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola
