I want candy. No seriously; send me some. That is if you can pry a few bars away from Katherine McPhee fans. They've come up with a sweet campaign to bombard "American Idol" producers with Kit Kat bars until they bring McPhee back to sing next season, says the TV Squad.
It appears that the season 5 runner-up feels shafted by not being asked to perform in the most recent season finale. Fans are hoping that mounds of sweet chocolate and crispy wafers will help execs change their minds and bring her back next season.
McPhee has just signed to star in the independent film "The Last Caller." She is currently on tour; dates are listed on the singer's official Web site. -- Rachel Cericola
Kat was upset, not about not appearing on the finale, but about not being invited back during the entire season. I just hope the powers that be are getting the message from Kat fans that the runner-up deserves better than she got!

This "Sweet Gesture" is a great way to let Idol executives know how much KAT was missed this season. McPhans are very upset about Kat being the only top finalist from last year who didn't perform on Idol this season. Since she was the 1st Runner Up, if anybody deserved to be there, it was Kat. The Idol franchise should strive to support all their artists and not play favorites. It doesn't sit well with the fans.
