Peter Noone performed tonight. I know the guy is a classic, but he reminded me of one July 4th when Davy Jones was performing at our state park. It was kind of bizarre and not really good. At least Peter wasn't wearing Davy's red jumpsuit.
The 30-minute shows seem to be the perfect amount of time to squeeze in a Ford commercial. Who thinks up these things? Judging by the content, I would guess it's Seacrest. It was bad, but at least Phil found his hat in the laundromat. It was probably with that one missing sock.
Brad Garrett sat with the Idols to pimp out his show. It's on right after the results show. I'm guessing there's about a 93 percent drop-off in viewers at that point. Doesn't he have money he can count?
The results are slightly shocking. Phil is not in the bottom 3. He also slapped hands with Sanjaya, who also was not in the bottom 3. Haley's boobies saved her as well. Chris Richardson and Stephanie Edwards were the bottom two.
Separated at birth: Lulu and Olivia Newton-John. Lulu sounded a lot better during last night's little snippets. She also looked like she missed her cue or the set didn't open fast enough or something.
Stephanie looked a little miffed, and rightfully so. Chris looked like he was going to cry. Neither one was going to win, but both deserved to be cramped into the Idol tour bus.
Chris can pack his bag -- for the tour. Stephanie was the one to get the axe. Is this the Bizarro World or what? I thought Stephanie was starting to lose her edge as well, but she's leaving above Sanjaya, Haley and Phil? God must hate "American Idol." And who could blame him (or her!) after this display. -- Rachel Cericola

I think Sanjaya's overstayed his welcome on American far too long now.
