Chris Sligh was a poor choice to go into commercial with. Did anyone think that he wasn't making it to the top 12? They should have had Antonella or Sanjaya. Give me someone to be semi-worried about.

Carrie Underwood hasn't forgotten her roots. Either that or she knows the perfect place to plug an album. She is gorgeous, but it looked like the "American Idol" stylist got a hold on hair again; it was just a little high in the front. Plus, was that a dress or a shirt and leggings? She is super cute though, and can still belt it out.

The show was starting to move too fast, so they needed to boot someone else toot sweet. I think the entire world had a moment of silence, because no one could have possibly known Sabrina was going to be the one going home. Was it her fancy prom dresses? Her perfect, tightly wound curls? It must have been something, because it certainly wasn't her singing.
Sanjaya and Sundance could not have looked less comfortable during the whole "Idol Gives Back" segment. It was at this point that Ryan and Simon showed their vacation videos from Africa. It was weird to see a sensitive Simon Cowell. However, now I understand why those two guys hate each other this season. Travel can take a toll on a relationship.

I am thinking they kept Sanjaya around another week to see him paired with Diana Ross. I smell "The Wiz, part deux." Also, did Sundance shout out his own name at the end or was that Seacrest?
On a final note, we're thinking of running an "American Idol" contest with a few goofy giveways. Does anyone have any ideas? (And no, coming up with a contest is not the contest.) Drop me a line. -- Rachel Cericola
This night is even more proof that the judges should choose the Top 12, not America, cause America knows no talent.
-- 2. Posted by: Bryan at March 8, 2007 10:29 PMI can't believe they got rid of sundance and kept sanjaya. This contest must be rigged.
-- 3. Posted by: Anonymous at March 8, 2007 11:02 PMByan, I wouldn't say that America doesn't know talent. After all they are buying Chris's album even though he got a premature boot off of idol. I think it's the kids watching idol and making the phone calls (probably with their parent's money) that don't know the talent. But I do agree with you that the judges should vote for the top twelve.
-- 4. Posted by: Gord at March 9, 2007 9:59 AMI think they should change the format to what they're doing on that Grease show. The voting is the same but the judges determine who they will "save" out of the bottom 2. Had that been the case we wouldn't have to suffer through any more "what's her name" and Sanjaya.
-- 5. Posted by: Anita at March 9, 2007 10:38 AM^Your Grease comment only pertains, assuming Sanjaya is in the bottom two! Remember, on the first elimination, it was revealed Sanjaya was in the Top 4. I think he's actually one of the top vote getters; they just purposely show him as part of the final two to make people think that he's at the bottom. I guarantee you he's near the top!
-- 6. Posted by: Christina at March 9, 2007 12:20 PMI actually thought at first that Blake had burned both of his arms and had them wrapped up in gauze. Very odd choice.
Sanjaya makes me want to boycott the whole friggin show. He is just plain odd.
-- 7. Posted by: Lori at March 9, 2007 4:03 PMYeah, because odd people never become pop stars (insert sarcastic eye roll)
-- 8. Posted by: David at March 9, 2007 9:47 PMI think Sanjaya ROCKS!!!
I loved his performance. He is staying and people are voting for him.

I can't believe it! Has someone figured out how to jam the phone lines and post false votes?!?! Sanjaya isn't even good karaoke!
