Hopefully the Brittenum twins haven't packed for Hollywood yet. People magazine says that Derrell and Terrell Brittenum have been dropped from "American Idol."
It's sort of a shame, since the guys seemed to have real talent. On the other hand, I really appreciate the producers not wasting anymore of my time. With their recent arrests, there is no way that the voting public would allow these guys to get past the first round of phone calls.
The Brittenums appeared on the first audition show, in Chicago. Both are currently awaiting trial after being accused of stealing a man's identity to buy a new car. Unfortuately, that's not all they have going on and both have previous arrest records.
The next round of "American Idol" auditions will air Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola

I'm sure there will be more stories like this to come out this season. Both Bo and Scott had convictions last year but neither were pulled mid season. Makes for great drama anyway.
