30 Rock: Emmys & New Episodes

Out of 10 Emmy Nominations, “30 Rock” went home with two awards. Elaine Stritch won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series, for playing Alec Baldwin’s character’s mother, Colleen. Hopefully this means more Elaine Stritch, especially after her candid, hilarious award presentation during the ceremony, with Stanley Tucci.

And the other win? Oh, a little category called Outstanding Comedy Series.

Yeah.

Outstanding.

Comedy.

Series.

If you aren’t watching this show, you should be. Here’s your next chance:

8:30, Thursday, October 3rd on NBC. Season Premiere. With a special appearance by Jerry Seinfeld.

Obviously, both awards were oh-so-deserving... but I really wish Alec Baldwin had won.

I love Ricky Gervais, but I was really surprised Baldwin didn't get it.
