3PM-4PM

This is it; the last hour......

At the press conference Suvarov announces that the peace agreement will be a living memorial to Hassan. Dalia looks sick and excuses herself. Suvarov realizes that Taylor told her the truth about his involvement. No wonder he says that she can't look him in the eye. He wants to know what Taylor must have said to her to keep her in the agreement, but Taylor walks away. Suvarov gets a call from Logan who wants him to come to his office. Suvarov tells him that he is busy and Logan can meet him, but Logan tells him that he has information about a mole inside Suvarov's staff. Suvarov agrees to meet him. Chloe wakes up and realizes she is cuffed to the pipe. She pleads with Jack who is waiting for Suvarov to enter Logan's office. She tells him that they have all the evidence that they need and he doesn't have to do it, but Jack tells her that he has to finish what he started. Cole calls Chloe and she tells Jack that if she doesn't answer then he'll send in a team with orders to shoot and kill him.

Suvarov arrives at Logan's office and Jack has him in his sights. Chloe pleads with him to not shoot him. She asks him if Renee would have wanted this, if she would have wanted a war started in her name. Jack finally hesitates and puts the gun down. He tells Chloe that they will do it her way, but that she has to do exactly what he says. She agrees. Logan realizes that a shot is not going to come and comes up with a lame excuse to tell the very annoyed Suvarov. Jack gives Chloe the data card and she tells him that she can't get out of the building anymore than he can, that she bypassed CTU with an excuse of checking the perimeter. Jack tells her that they have to convince Logan that she is not helping him. He gives her the gun back and tells her to shoot him. Chloe can't do it. He tells her to tell CTU that he drew his gun first and she shot him. Chloe refuses to shoot him. The moment gets tense and finally Jack puts the gun to his chest and shoots himself. CTU bursts through the door and she tells them she had to shoot Jack. Medical rushes to him. Chloe gets Cole on the phone and tells him what is going on. She needs to get back to command so she can upload the file. Chloe is detained by an agent who tells her that Pillar wants to debrief her. She tries to use her head of CTU power but is told that it's from the President. Pillar speaks to Logan who tells him to get the data card because if he goes down, so does Pillar.

The EMT's are working on Jack when Pillar arrives. He wants to search Chloe after they cannot find the data card. Chloe objects but Pillar insists. He does a sleazy job of feeling her up and finds nothing. Chloe says she hopes he enjoyed it and walks out. Pillar tries to interrogate Jack but he says nothing. The EMT says that he is stable enough to transfer to CTU because the bullet was a through and through and did not hit anything major. Pillar realizes what is going on and orders Chloe to be locked down. Jack starts groaning and Pillar comes closer to hear what he has to say and Jack bites off his ear. Chloe makes it to command and she starts uploading the data with Cole by her side. The agents rush in and Cole tries to stall them but they arrest Cole and remove the disk, interrupting the upload and take Chloe into custody as well. Logan takes the card to Taylor and tells her that Jack is being taken to CTU but that he will never let this go and that no matter where they send him that he will find a way out. Logan of course has a plan. Taylor stays silent, giving her approval for Jack to be assassinated. Logan leaves and Taylor watches the data card, but it is not the recording. It is the message Jack left to his daughter Kim. Taylor is moved by the message and seems to be coming to a resolve. Logan and Pillar sit in Logan's office and have a celebratory drink for pulling everything off. The Secretary General makes a few remarks and then Suvarov signs the peace agreement. Dalia is next and after a long hesitation she reluctantly signs as well. Taylor pulls out the pen from Hassan and puts it to the paper, but she just doesn't have the heart to go through with it (thank God she redeemed herself). She returns the pen to Dalia and says she cannot accept it. Suvarov urges her to think about what she is doing, but Taylor returns to the podium and announces that crimes have been committed over the past 24 hours. She admits to being a part of the cover-up and that she will give a more complete statement later, but that the peace process has come to an end. She leaves and tells Tim Woods to call transport that the EMT vehicle transporting Jack is going to be ambushed, but she is too late.

Logan and Pillar watch in shock as the events transpire on TV. The phone in the office starts to ring and Logan knows that it is Taylor wanting to know about Jack. Pillar says they should answer it because why add murder to their charges. He picks up the phone and Logan knocks him over the head with a decanter and says that it was his last chance and that Bauer took it away. He puts a pillow over Pillar's head and shoots him. Taylor, Woods and a team have reached the office and are yelling for Logan to open the door. He puts his gun under his chin and Taylor hears the shot. They break down the door and Taylor tells Tim that she needs Logan alive. The paramedics are working on Logan but they think he will live, but with severe brain damage. Taylor is wracked with guilt because how will they find Jack now. Tim suggests the drones and she wants Cole and Chloe released. Tim tells her that he has already done that. Chloe and Cole return to CTU where Chloe has Eden arrested. Chloe and Arlo locate the van that has Jack and sees that it has pulled into a vacant lot. The leader of Logan's men has Jack on his knees. He tells Jack that he knows who he is and that he will make it quick. Jack laughs and sweeps the guys legs out from under him, but he isn't strong enough to get away. The guy puts the gun to Jack's head and Jack is ready. Right before the trigger is pulled, another guard gets a call from Taylor who tells him to stop. He gets on the phone will Taylor (with Chloe, Arlo and Cole listening in and watching on the screen) who tells them to leave and if not, they will shoot a missile from the drone that is overhead. She wants to talk to Jack. Jack gets on the phone as the men leave and Taylor tells Jack that it is over, that she has told the truth and that she will be facing the consequences of her actions as well as resigning. She also says that Jack will have to do the same.

Taylor, now crying, tells Jack that she wanted the peace treaty so bad that she betrayed every moral principle that she had. She wants Jack to get out of the country while he still can because the Russians will be after him as well as the U.S. She apologizes and then hangs up. Jack gets on the phone with Chloe as the three of them watch him on the screen at CTU. Jack tells her that he never thought from the first moment that they met that she would be the one to help him through so much stuff. Chloe begins to cry as Jack pleads with her to keep his family safe because they will try and use them to get to him. She promises. He thanks her for all the help that she has ever given him and hangs up. He looks up at the drone and seems to be looking right at Chloe and then takes off running. Jack is once again a fugitive. Chloe tells Arlo and Cole that what happened here didn't happen and she orders the drone shut down. As the drone shuts down Jack's figure becomes fuzzy and then blacks out.

So that's it. 24 has come to an end (with all of the major players still alive, including Logan). I thoroughly enjoyed writing for 24 for the past 3 seasons and I am looking forward to the movie (we all know it's coming). Thanks for reading!

The last 2 hours of 24 have come and gone and I don't know if it was just me, but they felt a little less Jack-centric and more all about the other characters. Jack spent the majority of the time, being shot, beat up, laying on a stretcher, or near death. Great final 2 hours, just not quite what I was expecting. However, the ending has been set up nicely for the movie.

Oh yeah, and "the events occur in real time" at the beginning of each episode? The producers are a little late with announcing that concept.

Review Part 1: 2PM-3PM

Arlo lets Chloe know about the bloodbath at Novakovich's place but Chloe is still adamant that she can talk him down. Cole arrives at Ricker's place but is quickly caught on camera by Ricker. Cole is identified and Ricker starts to erase all data. Cole shoots through the door and is met by Ricker and a gun being held on him. Cole tells Ricker that if he doesn't help Jack then he will die. Ricker tells him that Jack knew what he was getting into and he can fight his own battles. Cole reminds Ricker how Jack saved him and now he has a chance to save Jack. Chloe arrives at the UN only to have some field agent question her decision to pull out Cole. She tells him that he designed the security and to get over it. The agent is afraid they can't trust him. Cole calls and tells Chloe that Jack is targeting President Suvarov because he is the one who gave the order to kill Renee and that Jack has a copy of it. Chloe tells Cole that they will need the recording because Meredith was arrested and she knows that the evidence that Dana had has been destroyed. Cole wants to send out a message that Jack is going to assassinate Suvarov but Chloe tells him that Pillar will find him and kill him. Instead they will change the route Suvarov will take to the UN to buy them some time.

Logan calls Taylor (again) with more bad news. Jack took out Novakovich and his men. He tells her about Suvarovs involvement but that Jack cannot possibly know about that connection because he did not leave anyone alive long enough to ask questions. Taylor is even more distraught and tells him to take care of it. Eden calls Pillar as he gets into his car and tells him that Jack was injured in his assault on Novakovich. Pillar tells her that they have to find him. As he hangs up he hears someone tell him he already did. Jack is hiding in the back seat with a gun to his head. Jack orders him to drive to the UN. At the UN, Dalia presents Taylor with a pen that was very special to Hassan. He was going to give it to Taylor for the signing. Taylor is extremely moved but more so with guilt. Kayla goes to her mom after Taylor leaves and tells her about the phone call from Meredith. Dalia wants nothing to do with her at first, but Kayla convinces her that it must be important if she were to call. Kayla tells her the Russians were involved with her father's death. Dalia decides to call her back. Cole arrives back at the UN and Chloe tells him that as soon as they have the recording they are going to release it to every media outlet, government agency and military faction in the U.S. simultaneously using CTU. Jack has Pillar pull into the Hart building which is across the street from the UN and has already been cleared by CTU.

Jack gets Pillar out of the car and he realizes that Jack is going to shoot Suvarov while he is at the podium but he tells Jack that it's not for another hour and he isn't going to make it when he is bleeding so heavily. Jack tells him that he is going to sew him up. He gives Pillar the needle and tells him that if he makes one wrong move that he'll shoot him in the head. Pillar wants to know why Jack is doing what he is doing because he knows that Jack has always had a good reason to go "outside the box" on something. Jack tells him that the death of Hassan and the fact that the peace agreement is between liars. Pillar wants to know who makes him judge and jury and Jack tells him that Taylor does, and it was when she covered up the truth. He has Pillar turn around and get on his knees. Pillar realizes that Jack is going to shoot him and begs for Jack to let him be that he has a wife and child. This makes Jack stop and instead of killing Pillar he knocks him out and beats him with his pistol. Dalia cannot reach Meredith on the account that she has been arrested. Dalia goes to Taylor and tells her what she has learned and wants Taylor's help to find out if the allegations are true and to find Meredith. At first Taylor plays dumb hoping Dalia will take a simple answer of it's not true. However, Dalia insists and tells Taylor that she will not sign the peace agreement until she finds out the truth. Taylor has no choice but to tell her that she had Meredith arrested and that's when Dalia realizes that it is true and that Taylor has known all along.

Taylor tries to use Hassan by saying that this is something that he worked so hard far. But Dalia throws it back in her face and tells her that Hassan never would have stood for this. Dalia tells her that she plans to demand Meredith's release and whatever evidence she has and then she is going to use it to expose what has transpired over the last few hours. Taylor (looking as evil as we have ever seen her) tells Dalia that she will sign the peace agreement and if not then she will turn over evidence which implicates the IRK in the possible detonation of a nuclear weapon on U.S. soil and this will be enough for war on the IRK. Dalia is horrified that Taylor has said this and storms out of the office slamming the door behind her. Jack breaks into a utility room and starts to assemble his rifle. He has a clear shot of the UN building. Dalia tells Jamot what is going on and Jamot does not see anyway out of Taylor's threat. Dalia tells him that they can restart their nuclear program and then realizes how terrible that is. An aide comes to tell them that Suvarov is about to arrive and Dalia is expected to greet him. Arlo finds Jack's reflection on a soda machine inside the perimeter and tells Cole who tells Chloe. Chloe decides she is going alone to talk to Jack but if she is not back in 20 minutes then he is to put out an alert.

In the utility room, Jack begins to record a message for Kim: "As long as I can remember, every time I've had to talk to you, it seems that for one reason or another I've started out by telling you how sorry I am. I'm not going do that to you now. You're going to hear a lot of stories about what I've done today. Some of them may even be true. But no one, and I mean no one, can tell you why I did what I did except for me. A lot of good people died today. Not just President Hassan. Officers from CTU, members of other law enforcement agencies... Renee Walker. Who I was very close to." The scene shifts to Suvarov arriving at the UN. He shakes hands with Dalia who will not look him in the eye. They move into a meeting room where the Secretary General (a strange role for Eric La'Salle) talks about trust and honesty. Cole has an Agent (the same one who questioned his loyalty) send a ten-man team outside of the Hart building. Chloe sneaks around and finally finds the utility room. She goes in with her gun drawn, but Jack is waiting. Chloe tells him that he can stop, that they can use the tape for evidence against Suvarov and that Pillar is out to kill him with instructions to the agents to kill him on sight. Jack tells her she should not have come, but (in an uncharacteristic way) Chloe tells him softly that she is his friend and that she had to come. Jack tells her he is sorry and puts her in a choke hold until she passes out. Jack cuffs her to a pipe and returns to his gun.

Jack picks up Pillars phone and calls Logan. He tells Logan that he has him in his gun sights and that he will shoot him if he doesn't do what he says. Jack watches Logan's expression change to horror as he asks Jack what he wants. Jack tells him that he knows of Suvarovs involvement and plays a bit of the recording. He wants Logan to call him and have him come to his office. Logan wants to know how he is supposed to get him there and Jack tells him to tell the truth for a change and tell Suvarov that he has credible proof about an attempt on his life. Jack smirks as he tells Logan this.

1PM-2PM

The hour picks up with Logan (and his smug look) watching a new conference on his involvement with the peace treaty and Suvorov's imminent arrival at JFK. He gets a call from Pillar who removes the smug with the news that Jack got away with Reed, the evidence and gutted Pavel. Dalia and Taylor finish a meeting and Dalia admits to Jamot that she is wary of Logan's involvement. She adds that she trusts Taylor so it must be okay. However, she wants Jamot to do whatever he can to find out how she got the Russians back to the table. Logan meets with Taylor and tells her about Jack. Once again Taylor is furious with Logan's incompetency. He tells her that she needs to have Reed's story killed as a matter of national security. He reminds Taylor that she is a popular President who has always done the right thing (including sending her daughter to jail) and that he is sure she will do the right thing now.

At CTU Arlo shows Chloe the video from the warehouse, including what Jack did to Pavel and the gun that killed Renee. Chloe still wants to try and talk Jack down before Pillar and his men kill him. Arlo also finds Ricker who served with Jack in the Gulf War, but apparently he has been dead for 7 years. Chloe tells Arlo that he must have faked his death and they have to find him. Ricker calls Jack with the phone trace, but he is not happy to give up Logan's location. He tells Jack that he is crossing a line that he cannot come back from. Jack tells him that he doesn't intend on coming back. He tells Ricker to cover his tracks for anything leading him to Jack and thanks him for his help. Jack then steals an SUV. Taylor (who is understandably sporting a headache, or maybe it's her conscious) calls Tim Woods and tells him to get in touch with Reed's editor Klausner to kill the story. Reed has contacted Klausner and tells him the basics, they agree to meet in a diner in 15 minutes.

Logan is in his limo headed towards to the UN and talking to Novakovich. Novakovich is terrified that Jack will come for him (rightly so), but Logan promises that it will never happen...except here comes Jack dressed in full body army (which looks kind of ridiculous actually). Logan's limo is in a tunnel and Jack manages to get it trapped in there by firing off shots which causes people to abandon their cars behind and in front of the limo. Logan starts whining and almost crying that Jack is coming for him and for his secret service agents to do something. They try and stop Jack but he shoots to wound them. He gets on the car and manages to shoot a small enough hole through the bullet proof glass to pop in a container of tear gas. The gas causes Logan to exit the vehicle and Jack grabs him. He tells Logan he'll kill him if he doesn't cooperate. Arlo and Chloe have located Ricker and they also hear that Jack has got Logan. She has Arlo patch her into Pillar and Eden's phone convo and she hears Pillar command to shoot him dead. Jack gets Logan to a utility room and because Logan is such a weenie, Jack has no problem getting him to confess. He tells Jack that he had nothing to do with Renee's death (he was brought in afterwards), that there is no evidence or list of all the men involved and that it was a bluff to get the Russians to the table and that it worked, but now Jack has screwed it up. Jack gives him 5 seconds to tell him who ordered the hit on Renee. Logan finally tells him Novakovich and where he can find him (so much for that promise). Jack chokes Logan till he passes out and gets away right as Pillar's team arrives.

Arlo and Chloe are listening in to Pillar's conversations and know they need to get someone out there to find Jack but all agents are in the field....except for one. Eden confronts Chloe and wants to know why Cole is being released into her custody. Chloe tells her that Pillar took away all of her resources for the security at the UN and that Cole designed the layout so she needs him and she doesn't need Eden's permission to do it, that she is still the director of CTU (way to stand up for yourself). Meredith Reed is waiting at the diner when she gets a call on the diner phone from Klausner. He tells her that the FBI arrived before he could leave. She tells him that it is all a cover up and he tells her to protect the evidence and that they could be tracing his call. The FBI starts to bang on his door and tell him that he isn't supposed to be making phone calls. He tells Meredith to get out of there and that he will try and call Sampson at the Justice Department.

Chloe tells Cole he is going to find Ricker and get him to tell him where Jack is. She has him logged as accompanying her to the UN, but she has a separate car for him and some guns. Novakovich's driver Ivan, is attacked by Jack who makes him tell him how to get to Novakovich. Ivan gives in and Jack beats him unconscious. Jack makes his way to the elevator and is attacked by two guards. He gets a keycard off of one of them and shoots them both. As he is about to get in the elevator one guard gets up and stabs Jack in the side. He manages to stab the guard with his own knife and stumble into the elevator bleeding, but still on a mission. Meredith is hiding out in a hotel lobby and calls Dalia. Dalia cannot be reached, but she is put on the phone with Kayla. Kayla wants nothing to do with her, but Meredith tells her that she has proof about who really killed her father and that she needs to speak with her mother right away. She gives Kayla the hotel number and hangs up. As she walks away (which is stupid, how is she supposed to hear the phone ring?) she is arrested by the FBI who seize the data card (I hope she made a copy). Woods tells Taylor the news and she tells him that she is the only person who is to view the card.

Logan (gasping through an oxygen mask) tells Pillar to call Novakovich and warn him that Jack is coming for him. Too late. The phone is answered by Berkov, who is the only survivor of Jack's slaughter. Novakovich has been impaled with a fire place poker and everyone else is dead. Berkov tells Pillar that Jack came in shooting and did not ask any questions. Logan calls Suvorov next to report the news. Turns out, Suvorov ordered the hit on Hassan AND Renee. Logan tells him not to worry that every officer is on the hunt for Jack and that Novakovich told him nothing. But this is Jack we are talking about and he is listening in on the conversation via a tiny microphone on Logan's lapel. He records the conversation and moves on to his next target leaving a large blood stain on the wall behind him.

12PM-1PM

The NYPD have located Dana's body and they bring Cole in from the bank. He identifies her and Pillar has him sent back to CTU in cuffs for aiding Jack. Jack watches the video that he got from Dana and it shows her talking with Pavel (the assassin) about Hassan's execution. Jack needs to find out who is on the video so he takes it back to Ricker's place. Meanwhile, Pillar is having CTU devote their full attention to finding Jack. Chloe questions him about why Dana would take Jack to the bank and that something is going on. Pillar blows her off. Chloe tries to confide in Arlo that something is not right, but he says he has his orders to do his job. Jack gets to Ricker's place and he tells Jack that he is all over the police scanners. He wants to help Jack, but he needs to know exactly what is going on. Jack tells him about the cover up. Ricker nods but wants to know the other part. Jack admits about what happened to Renee and that he wants revenge. Ricker thinks this is a fine idea and tells him that the man in the video is Pavel. He tells him that Pavel is in the U.S. but he doesn't know where. Jack decides to call Meredith (Hassan's former lover).

Jack calls Meredith, who has just written a glowing review of Hassan for her paper, and he tells her that he needs her help to go public with the truth of what really happened to Hassan. Meredith seems a little uneasy with the idea, but agrees to meet Jack at a coffee shop in a department store after he reminds her that he helped clear her name earlier in the day. Pillar is chatting with Cole but getting nowhere. Cole just tells him that he must be part of the cover-up. Cole seems pissed about Jack using him, but he also still thinks that Jack is right. Pillar tells him to do the right thing and Cole says nothing. Eden tells Pillar that they intercepted a phone call to Meredith with all of the key words that they have on their search. Arlo tells them that he can unscramble it, but Pillar wants it sent to Eden to handle. Pillar plays the tape for Logan and Novakovick. They decide that Pavel with take them out when they meet and then will retrieve the evidence. Logan wants to personally oversee this and asks for Pavel's phone number.

Chloe goes to Arlo after Pillar and Eden keep having shady conversations behind the opaque walls of the office. She knows the call must be from Jack, otherwise why would they care. If it is from Jack why aren't they dispatching CTU and NYPD to bring him in. She also tells Arlo that there are three calls made by Pillar that she can't trace. She knows Pillar is a part of the cover-up and finally Arlo agrees to help her. Chloe needs to talk to Cole to find out what he knows, but since he is on lockdown Arlo creates a 90 second loop around the security camera feed to allow Chloe to get in without it being recorded. Chloe goes in and Cole is uninterested in helping. He tells her that Jack shot Dana point blank and that he wants revenge for Renee. He thinks it would be best if Jack and Pillar just killed each other. Chloe reminds him that Jack is her friend and she wants to expose the cover up. Cole tells her that someone must be helping him because he showed up with a ton of weapons. Chloe and Arlo get started on Jack's list of known associates. Logan watches the news and hears that President Suvarov will be landing any minute. He calls Pavel who tells him that Jack has not arrived yet, and Logan tells him that he should do what he has to do when it comes to Meredith.
Taylor is working out last minute negotiations with Dalia when she gets a note to meet with Logan. He tells her about Jack and she is extremely unhappy. He tells her that he has it under control and that everything will be taken care of shortly. Taylor doesn't even seem to care anymore that this means killing Jack. Logan also wants his recognition for his help with the peace process. She tells him that her press secretary will draft something and have it ready for the afternoon news. Meredith is waiting for Jack at the coffee shop. Pavel is set up in a sniper position and is on the phone with Pavel and in contact with other operatives. They spot Meredith but cannot find Jack. He is weaving in and out of the crowd and hiding behind taller people. Pillar spots him and tells Pavel to take him out, but before he can do so he feels a gun to his head, its Ricker. Ricker gives Jack the all clear and he grabs Meredith. Pillar tells the operatives to take him out, but Jack is better and guns them all down. Jack and Meredith escape and meet up with Ricker and Pavel. Pillar reports the bad news to Logan and suggests maybe it is time for him to pull himself away from all of this so that it does not look badly on him as he still has complete deniability. Logan tells him that it is too late and that his involvement with the peace process is about to be made public. He wants to go forward. Pillar goes to the store himself to clean up the mess and tells Eden to put up a 2 block perimeter.

Arlo shows Chloe the footage from the store which proves that Pillar was trying to kill Jack. They decide to use the video to find Jack's help. Jack takes Pavel to a warehouse and ties him up. Meredith realizes that Jack used her and yells at him. Jack gives her the evidence and tells her that once she sees it, she'll know that it's real. She realizes that Jack is going to torture Pavel and begs him to stop. Ricker takes her to another room. Jack inspects the gun that was used to shoot Renee. He asks Pavel why he did it, and he tells Jack to go to hell. Of course Jack plans on sending him there first. Meredith starts to watch the video and Jack starts to torture Pavel with a pair of pliers. He knows that Pavel could have shot Renee to kill her with one shot, but instead he shot her where she would bleed out slowly and suffer. Jack uses a blowtorch and knife on Pavel and he doesn't get anywhere. Frustrated, he realizes that he has Pavels cell phone, but that Pavel ate the SIM card. He guts Pavel (which kills him) and cleans off the card. He puts it in his phone and calls the last number. The voicemail picks up revealing the caller as Charles Logan.

11AM-12PM

Dalia is giving her speech at the press conference while Taylor watches. Logan is watching from a TV when his aide Pillar lets him know that Dana is not cooperating. He wants to know if he has confirmation for what to do with her after the information is retrieved. Logan tells him yes, though he also states that he also has no idea what he is talking about. Dana is currently being waterboarded when Jack and Cole arrive at the location. Jack plans to cut a deal with Dana (as in let her go) once he gets the proof. Chloe calls and Cole answers, playing it off that he is bringing Jack into CTU. Chloe tells Arlo that she wants Jack to see the psychologist as soon as he arrives, because she has never seen him like this. Jack and Cole sneak into the building taking out men on the way. He gets the location from the security guy and bursts into the room where Blesdoe is holding Dana. He puts a gun to Dana's head tells Jack to drop his weapon, he doesn't think Jack will shoot. Wrong. Jack shoots him in the head and Cole frees Dana. The three make their way out of the building.

Arlo gets call from one of the agents who informs him that Jack took Cole hostage. Chloe realizes that he knew all along her plan and that he was probably 2 steps ahead of her. She puts out another APB on Jack and calls the White House. Jack demands the proof from Dana and she wants to know where her immunity deal is. He tells her it is off the table, but that he will let her go. She doesn't believe him. Jack pulls over and roughly pulls Dana out of the car; he puts a gun to her heart and tells her she has three seconds before he pulls the trigger. Dana gives in and tells him that it is in a safe deposit box in her and Cole's name but that only she can access it. Dana goes to Cole and tells him that Jack wants revenge and not justice that he is going to kill everyone on the list including her. Cole calls out Jack, but he tells him that Dana is just trying to get in his head, and that he had to make her think he would pull the trigger. Cole seems satisfied with this answer.

Reporters are grilling Dalia when Tim Woods brings Taylor a note about Jack. She leaves the press conference and Woods tells her that Jack escaped and now he has Dana and that Logan wants to speak with her. She calls Logan and yells at him because Dana was supposed to be more secure there. She realizes that she is on speaker phone and becomes even angrier. Logan claims to have a solution that involves sending Pillar to CTU to oversee the man hunt for Jack. After some coercing, Taylor gives in for the operational exchange but that's it. Chloe is still the acting director. She hangs up on him, but Logan pretends to continue to be on the phone with Taylor and that the exchange is pleasant (why fake that for Pillar?). Pillar leaves for CTU and Logan meets with Novakovich and his aide. He tells him that the Russians will have to take out Jack and now that Logan has an insider in CTU they can give them Jack's location to get it done.

The trio arrive at the bank and Jack stands in the lobby. Dana again tries to plead with Cole that Jack is crazy, and that he would have pulled the trigger. He tells her that he was just playing her and to quit trying to play him. Pillar arrives at CTU and starts taking charge. Chloe wants to know why he is there and he says on Presidential order and that it's time to stop treating Jack like a friend and instead like an enemy. He changes Chloe's level of force to unrestricted. Cole's banker and high school friend leaves Dana and Cole in the room while he goes to get the box. Dana tries to play Cole again by telling him she was going to use the video file as leverage against the Russians so that they would leave her and him alone. Cole tells her there never was a them and that she has been lying to him the whole time and he would never believe her. The box comes in and Dana goes to open it but Cole pulls it away. He opens it and finds a gun and he comments on how Dana would try anything. As Cole picks up the gun Dana shields her eyes and looks away as a flash bomb goes off. She jumps up and elbows Cole to floor knocking him out. She picks up the gun and puts the file in her pocket. When the banker walks in, she shoots him. Dana calls 911 and tells them she is at the bank and sees the man from the TV (Jack) she tells them he is looking her way and then hangs up. She regards Cole one last time with a stroke on his cheek and makes her escape.

At CTU Pillar finds Jack at the bank. He calls Pavel (the Russian aide) and tells him the police will get to him first so he'll have to take him out in custody. However, this is Jack Bauer we are talking about and he manages to take down the cops (with a shot to the guy's foot) and escape. He sees Dana running across the road and he takes off after her. Jack and Dana play cat and mouse through a warehouse and Jack tricks her into using her last bullet by throwing his jacket in her direction. Jack corners her and she has no where to go. He wants to know if she killed Cole and she tells him that she could never do that to him. He makes her give over the disk. He walks up to her with his gun pointed at her chest and she wants to know if there is anything she can do. Jack tells her nothing and looks long at hard Dana and this time he shoots her point blank in the chest. She falls back and is still breathing. Jack puts another bullet in her and walks away.

10AM-11AM

Jack manages to evade the posse that is following him and land the helicopter on a building top and start his escape on foot. Chloe realizes that Jack is going to try and find Dana so she has Cole lead a team to find him. Kanin still believes that Taylor needs to come clean about the Russian's involvement. He tells her that the truth is going to come out whether Jack is the one to do it or not. Taylor finally agrees to call off the peace treaty and she wants Kanin to draft a statement for her. Logan (Taylor is really screwing up with this guy) meets with Taylor and offers an alternative to the Dana problem. He suggests that his private security firm take her to a secure location and retrieve the evidence from her. He says she can be declared an enemy combatant and then her word means nothing and will not go on public record. Taylor is reluctant because she knows this means that Dana will be tortured, but she finally agrees to it. The peace treaty is too important to her.

Taylor calls Chloe to let her know that Mark Blesdoe from a private security company is coming to get Dana. Chloe voices her concerns but is told that this is what is happening. Taylor tells Logan that all non-coercive tactics are to be used. Logan agrees (yeah right). Jack goes disposable phone shopping and calls Chloe. He tells her that Taylor is lying and that he needs her help. Chloe hesitates but then agrees. She tells Jack that Dana is being moved. He wants the address. She tells him she'll have to call him back. Jack then calls an ex-military friend (how does he have all of these numbers memorized??) Jim Ricker, who apparently owes him a favor. He tells Jim that he needs weapons and other stuff and that he will be by to pick them up. Blesdoe arrives at CTU and calls Logan's aide Pillar. Pillar tells them to return Dana to CTU once the information is obtained. Blesdoe explains that this is a cleanup mission that it would be better if Dana just died. He tells Pillar that they can make it look like an accident. Pillar tells him he will have to discuss it with his "client".

Blesdoe meets with Chloe and she wants to know where Dana is being taken. He tells her that he cannot disclose that information and she wants to see the order from the President. She claims they never received it. He pulls it up on is PDA and she inserts a mini USB drive when he isn't looking and copies all of the information. Dana pleads with Chloe not to let them take her because they will kill her. Chloe remains silent as they drag her out. Chloe calls Cole with the info. She tells him that she almost gave Jack the address but realizes that she is under Presidential order. She tells Cole that Jack isn't thinking clearly. Cole believes that he might be, but he takes his orders to bring in Jack anyway. Jack arrives at Jim's place (who is quite paranoid considering the amount of video monitoring and door locks the guy has). He has all the stuff that Jack asked for and tells Jack that they are now even. Jack tells him that they will be even when he says so.

Jack calls Chloe back and wants the address. She tries once again to get him to turn himself in. She gives him a false address 10 minutes away. At the address Cole and his team and suiting up and preparing to surprise Jack and take him into custody. Chloe tells them to use non-lethal force, but Cole knows Jack, and cannot tell his men not to defend themselves. Kanin brings Taylor the draft of the speech and she tells him that she has changed her mind once again and tells him about what they are doing with Dana. Kanin is horrified and can't believe that she would sink as far as Charles Logan. He tells her that he can longer be a part of it and is resigning (second time for poor Kanin) but that he will state that it is for health reasons. Besides, she has Logan now and there is not room for both of them. Dalia is reviewing her speech with Jamot and is worried that people will suspect her of trying to steal her husband's power. Kayla enters and tells her something that Hassan always said "the best way to dispute public misperception is to deal with it head on". Kayla apologizes for her behavior earlier and says she is ready to support her mother.

Jack arrives at the fake holding building and lets Chloe know that he is there. She then informs Cole that Jack has arrived. Jack slips a rifle over his shoulder and moves in. He makes it past the sentry outside and then takes out another "bad guy" by punching him in the face. Cole and his men are waiting inside when a large sand bag comes down the aisle with the agent slumped over it. Jack manages to grab another guy while they are distracted and holds him at gun point. Cole steps out and tells him to drop the weapon. Jack tells them to drop their weapons or he will shoot. Cole knows that Jack is not a bullshitter and has his men do as they are told. He wants to know how Jack knew it was a trap and he tells him that he knows Chloe all too well. He has Cole report to Chloe that he has Jack and Jack hears how bad Chloe feels about the whole thing but that she is glad that Jack is safe. Cole wants to know what Jack is going to do now, but Jack tells him to shut up. Jack takes Cole into another room and tells him that he only risked coming to the location because he knew that Chloe would send him. Jack wants Cole's help. He tells him about needing to talk to Dana and what Taylor is covering up. Cole doesn't believe that Taylor would do that, but Jack confirms it with the fact that she told him to his face. Jack also reminds Cole that he aided Dana and isn't as squeaky clean as everyone thinks he is. Cole hesitates for a few and then decides that Jack is right. Cole's men need to think that Jack took Cole hostage, so they play out the scene.

Dana is led into a warehouse where there is a table full of torture like instruments. She tells them she knows nothing and they strap her down. Kanin confronts Logan and tells him that he has manipulated Taylor to where he wants her. Logan offers his get well wishes to Kanin. Kanin tells him that if Logan hurts Taylor that he will come after him with everything he has got. Logan is obviously pleased that Kanin is leaving. Taylor starts the press conference. As she speaks about peace and how nothing must stand in the way we see Dana being strapped to the waterboard. She continues her spill about doing the right thing and we see Kanin giving her a disapproving look and then leaving the room. Dalia is brought to the podium and Novakovich has a very unhappy expression.

9AM-10AM

Jack is in a bit of a stupor after receiving the news that Renee died. He wanders the hallways and cannot tell the nurse how to reach a next of kin for Renee. The nurse brings him a change of clothes and he sits in a chair with his head in his hands. His grieving is cut short when he receives a call from Chloe. He wants to know what Renee knew. Chloe doesn't want him to compromise the investigation and he promises he won't. She tells him that it's someone from the Red Square mob and that he can find Bazheav downtown being arraigned at the federal court. Kanin arrives at the UN much to the shock of Taylor. He tells her that he figured he would have to talk her into talking with Logan, but she has already done so. However, Kanin is not happy that she doesn't know what this so called leverage over the Russian's is. Logan meets with Novakovich and tells him that he knows about the Russian's involvement in the assassination of Hassan and that if Russia does not go back to the table to sign the peace agreement then Logan will tell Taylor about the Russian government's involvement.

Jack gets to the courthouse and hears that Bazheav has been denied bail. He gets five minutes to talk to him and demands that he tell him who shot Renee. Bazheav denies any knowledge of this and tells Jack that Red Square no longer exists. Jack threatens to kill his whole family and Bazheav tells him that it doesn't matter, if he talks his family is dead anyway. Jack offers them witness protection and Bazheav tells him that it came from Moscow and that he doesn't know names but Dana Walsh does. Taylor calls Logan who is on his way back to the UN with the news that Novakovich has agreed to come back to the table. She gives Logan credit but Kanin wants to know what the leverage was, but Taylor tells him that it doesn't matter. Jack calls Chloe with his info. He wants to talk to Dana and Chloe arranges it. She asks Cole to be there in case Jack does something crazy.

Jack arrives at CTU and Chloe tells him that the cameras will have to stay on. Jack tells her that if he wanted Dana dead, she'd be dead. He goes in and asks Dana about Renee. Dana seems shocked (though she is sociopath) and tells Jack she is sorry but has no idea. Jack slams her head into the table and hits her in the face. Chloe wants Cole to intervene but tells her to wait. Dana tells Jack to stop and that she will give him all the names, all the way up to the top. She also tells Jack that she has proof, but first she wants her immunity reinstated and protection because as soon as the talks, she is dead. Jack tells her that if she is lying, he will hunt her down no matter where she is and kill her. Logan's aide gets a call from a contact at the Justice Department (these people move fast). Pillar (the aide) tells Logan about Renee and how Jack talked to Bazheav and that now he is going to interview Dana. Logan can't let that happen which means that he is going to have to tell Taylor everything. Logan seems pretty pissed that Jack is in the picture knowing that Jack ruined him the last time. Taylor lets Dalia know that the delegates have voted in favor of her representing the IRK and Dalia tells Taylor that her people will vote within the hour of her presidency.

Logan arrives at the UN and meets with Taylor. He tells her that Jack is out of control and must be stopped. Taylor and Kanin won't hear a word he is saying unless he comes clean. He tells them about Russia's involvement in Hassan's murder. Taylor is furious and can't believe that Logan didn't tell her sooner. Taylor tells him that if he could have prevented any of this then he is in deep trouble. Logan tells her no, but if Jack talks to Dana and finds out then the peace process will come to a dead end. Kanin tells Taylor that this is ridiculous and how would Dalia feel if she knew she was making a deal with the men who killed her husband. Taylor thinks long and hard but decides that the peace process is too important. See this is what happens when you talk to Logan, that dirty bastard. She decides to go to CTU and speak with Jack personally.

Taylor arrives at CTU and thanks the staff for all of their hard work. She heads up to Chloe/Hastings office and tells Jack that she needs him to stand down, that she is sorry about Renee but she can't have him out and about on a vengeance mission. He tells her that it is about justice. He argues with her, but she shuts him and down and tells him that he will be escorted to the air force base where he will be debriefed. Jack realizes though that he is going to be locked down until the peace treaty signing is over. Jack is led out by two secret service members and Taylor tells Chloe to lock down Dana and that no one is to have access to her. Chloe thinks that Dana can help, but Taylor tells her that she is a sociopath and that she will say anything for immunity. She tells Chloe that there will be a press conference in two hours and that she wants CTU to make sure the security is air tight and that Tim Woods spoke very highly of her.

Chloe tells Cole to head up the security at the UN. As Jack and an agent approach the chopper, Jack pulls the agents gun and orders him to tell the others to drop their weapons because he is taking the chopper (of course he knows how to fly a chopper, he's also got his Jack pack back). Chloe sees what is going on and runs to the helipad but its too late, Jack is off the ground. Chloe orders him back down and tells him that it's a bad idea, but Jack pays no attention and flies off.

8AM-9AM

Wow, what a sad, unexpected episode. Jack is unlucky when it comes to romantic relationships.

Jack talks with Taylor and expresses his apology for not protecting Hassan as she ordered. Taylor tells him that it was Hassan's choice to go with the terrorists and that he knew the risks. Jack tells her that it is important that they continue the peace process but Taylor fears that with no leader for the IRK, that the peace process will dissolve. Meanwhile Samir is still alive, but while he is in the ambulance one of the paramedics injects him with something. Renee sees the guy and they catch eyes, but she can't place him. Taylor is about to address the delegates. Jamot is speaking to Novakovich (I'm making up that spelling) and becomes angry when Novakovich implies that he should be happy that Hassan is dead because he had him interrogated. Jamot tells him this is not the case and as he walks away, he runs into Taylor. He tells her that he may have way to save the peace agreement.

Novakovich speaks with the fake EMT Pavel. Pavel tells him that Samir will be dead soon and that no one else is alive to identify them. He does tell him about Renee and how he remembers her from his days with Vladamir. Pavel is following Jack and Renee's taxi. Taylor and Jamot meet with Dalia. They want her to take Hassan's place as the leader of the IRK. At first she tells them that she is not a politician, but then decides that the peace agreement is too important. She agrees and will join them at the peace agreement hearing to back Hassan. Taylor calls Tim Woods and tells him to go ahead with their plan. Tim calls Chloe and lets her know that in light of all that has happened at CTU that Hastings is being removed from command and that she is to take his place for now. Chloe tells him it's a bad idea, but Woods tells her that Hastings is already being informed. Chloe goes to Hastings and tells him that she thinks it's a bad idea, but he takes full responsibility. After all, he is the one who hired Dana. He tells her they need to get to work before he is asked to leave the building for debriefing.

At Jack's apartment things heat up between him and Renee. She tells him that she won't hold him to any of his promises, but he stops her with a kiss. Across the street Pavel breaks into an apartment and kills the old man who lives there. He points his sniper rifle into Jack's window where he and Renee are in bed. Novakovich meets with Taylor and tells her that Russia is pulling out of the peace agreement as they do not see Dalia being able to take over for Hassan. Taylor accuses him of having no interest in the peace process from the beginning, and threatens to call President Suvarov. Novakovick tells her to go ahead, that it won't change anything. Taylor meets with Kanin. He tells her that Dalia will be a good leader but that the only way to get to the Russians is to meet with former idiot president Logan. He tells her that he has already received word about the Russians pulling out and wants to help. He might be a criminal but President Daniels did pardon him. Taylor reluctantly agrees.

Hastings leaves CTU and Chloe gets a call from Cole in medical telling her that Samir is about to die. He is dead when Chloe arrives. Cole tells her that he was with him the entire time, except for a few minutes at the scene. Chloe wants a full tox report ran on him. Dalia tells Kayla her plans to lead the IRK. Kayla is terrified that her mother will be killed. Dalia tells her that the decision has been made and to pull herself together as they need to go to the U.N. Taylor meets with Logan and lets her displeasure be known up front. Logan bypasses it and puffs out his now portly belly and chest even farther. He can get the Russians back in because he has "leverage", though he won't elaborate. He tells her that it will be kosher and her Presidency won't be tarnished, but he wants acknowledgment for helping and wants to be present at the signing. Taylor reluctantly agrees and he tells her that he needs to meet with Novakovich.

Back at Jack's apartment, Renee is wrapped up in a sheet lying on the bed while Jack goes to get some water. His cell phone starts to ring and he tells her to ignore it, but she answers anyway. Chloe tells Renee about Samir and how he had lethal drugs in his system. Renee suddenly remembers where she recognizes the EMT from. She tells Chloe to pull the Red Square mob files because he once worked with Vladimir and they will be able to identify him. As Renee gets up to tell Jack, a shot rings out. Jack sees the crack in the window and Renee lying on the floor. He runs to her and she has been shot in the chest. He tells Chloe to have the trauma team ready at the hospital. He scoops Renee up and manages to get out of the apartment. Pavel takes off trying to head them off at the front of the apartment building. He is too late as Jack gets Renee into a taxi. He tells the taxi to do whatever is necessary to get them to the hospital now.

Jack gets Renee to the hospital and she is rushed into surgery. Chloe calls Jack and he tells her that Renee is not good. She tells him about Samir's death and the EMT and the files that Renee wanted. He hangs up as the trauma team comes out looking grim. The surgeon apologizes to Jack, but there was just too much damage, he couldn't save her. Jack goes into the room and kisses her one last time and then breaks down.

Uh oh bad guys. Jack is coming after you with a vengeance.

6AM-7AM

President Taylor wants to know where Kanin is. She tells Weiss that she has a statement that she wants him to read. Weiss pulls out his phone to call him, but Taylor tells him to find Kanin. The bomb is scheduled to go off in less than 10 minutes and Taylor also wants to know where Hassan is. Inside the tunnel heading back to the U.N. Jack locks black ops Bishop into a storage room saying that his injuries are slowing them down but that he'll be okay. Hassan wants to turn himself over because his life is not worth millions of New Yorkers. He hits Jack in the back with a crow bar and forces everyone into the storage room and lets Bishop out. He tells Dalia he is sorry and takes off with Bishop to turn himself in to the terrorists. Hassan and Bishop get into an SUV and Bishop calls Bruckner to tell him what Hassan is doing. Bruckner calls Samir and tells him that they have Hassan. Samir wants proof and Hassan gets on the phone and tells Samir to turn over the bomb. Samir hangs up on him, but he does call Tarin (who is freaking out) and tells him to shut down the bomb.

Jack calls Chloe to tell her what is going on, but to keep it a secret for now. He wants her to pull up the cameras from where he is located and back track to find the SUV. He wants a secure line to Taylor and she sets it up. Taylor is hounding Weiss again about Kanin's whereabouts when she gets the call from Jack. He tells her about Bruckner and how Hassan has gone to meet the terrorists. Taylor is furious. Chloe tells Jack where the SUV is headed and he steals a car and heads that way. Hassan's phone rings and he answers it. He knows that it is Tarin, but Tarin tells him to give the phone to Bishop. Bishop gets out of the car and follows Tarin's directions and locates a set of keys. As Bishop is finding the keys Tarin gets in the SUV with Hassan and drives away. Bishop finds the van Tarin is driving and the bomb is inside.

Secret Service agents inform Taylor that Bruckner and Weiss (yep he screwed you over too) are locked in Kanin's office. The team breaks in and arrests them both. Kanin is barely alive and the paramedics start to work on him. Taylor can't believe that he would betray her like that. Weiss refuses to tell her where Hasssan is at and Taylor tells him that he will be charged with treason which carries the death penalty. She implores Weiss to make it right, but his phone rings. It's Bishop and he tells them that Hassan is with the terrorists and that he has the bomb. Hastings is briefing CTU on the situation when Dana tries to slip away, but Chloe calls her out and tells her that she needs to do her job. Jack arrives at the bomb site and tells Bishop that he might have retrieved the bomb but he still betrayed his president and he'll pay the price for it. Chloe calls Jack and lets him know that Taylor wants him in charge of recovering Hassan. He wants Cole on his team but Cole is just returning to CTU and will have to work from there. Dana uses this as an excuse to call Tarin, but Cole reaches her before the call goes through. She tells Cole that Jack needs his help and that Prady finally left.

In the SUV Hassan pleads with Tarin to do the right thing that he was only trying to bring peace to their country. Tarin tells him that he was going to hand their country over to the US and that he watched Hassan betray his wife with a "western whore". Hassan tells him that it won't matter, because someone else will step in to make it right. Tarin tells him it won't matter because Hassan won't be around to see it. Taylor speaks to Kanin briefly as he his rolled out and she tells him that she needs him. At that moment Renee arrives with Dalia and Kayla. Taylor tells her that she did a great job and Renee looks really uncomfortable. She asks to be sent back to CTU and Taylor agrees. Taylor then leads Dalia and Kayla into the situation room so that they can monitor Jack as he tries to save Hassan. Dana needs another excuse to call Tarin to let him know that Jack is closing in, so she tells Chloe that she needs to go check the trunk line in the server room and slips away. This time however, Arlo catches her looking at traffic patterns. He wants to know what is going on with her and she tries to play it off. She challenges Arlo to check up behind her and he does. As Arlo checks into the backlog of all she has been viewing, Dana comes up behind him with a piece of wire and is ready to choke him. Hastings calls and tells Arlo to get back upstairs just in time. Dana phones Tarin and tells him where to turn (into a parking garage) to be able to get away from Jack. She tells Tarin that she is done and will call Samir but after that, she is out.

Chloe realizes that Tarin has turned off into the parking deck. Jack chases him to the top. Instead of a game of chicken Tarin accelerates and drives the SUV off the top of the parking deck. Jack hurries down, but Tarin is dead and Hassan is no where to be found. Hassan is seen being stuffed into a trunk and drugged. A woman with a blonde wig gets directions and gets into the car and drives out of the parking deck. Jack finds Tarin's phone and realizes that someone at CTU must be working for the terrorists and as soon as Chloe can get the uplink from the phone they can find out who it is, but until then, no one else can know.......

5AM-6AM

First off, a couple of interesting things were learned in the previews for the rest of the season, one of which was even better than the episode itself.

1.	This is it. This is the last day that Jack will be able to save. There have been rumors, but FOX made it official last night letting viewers know that this is the final season. However, that means that the movie version will be out in the next couple of years as that has been a huge want for Keifer Sutherland.

2.	Former President Crazy (aka Logan) will be back! I hope this means that his crazy pill popping ex wife Martha and Aaron will make an appearance as well.

Okay, on to the review. Jack is being checked out by the EMT and he tells him that he has some cracked ribs and it could cause a collapsed lung, but Jack being the man that he is, tells the EMT that he is fine. Meanwhile, Samir and Tarin are in a taxi with the rods. Arlo and Chloe are tracking them by the drone but Dana pulls a quick malfunction of the system and it allows them to get away. Samir also wants to have NYPD's police grids, but Dana says she can't get to them yet and hangs up. Hastings has also called Taylor to let her know that they lost Samir and that they can no longer guarantee the safety of the city. Hassan and his family are being evacuated soon and Taylor calls Jack. She tells him to escort Hassan personally to her. Renee decides to tag along.

Samir pulls into a warehouse where the bomb maker is waiting for him. He tells Samir it will be ready as soon as the rods are loaded in. Samir tells Tarin to get ready to move in a few. Samir has a phone call to make to the President. Taylor is meeting with the National Security team when she receives a call from Samir. He tells her that the bomb will create fall out for 40 square blocks. He tells her that he will not detonate it in return for something. He wants Hassan. Taylor adamantly refuses and Samir tells her she has an hour to change her mind. Weiss tells the president that they need to turn Hassan over because one mans life is not worth the lives of 100,000. Bruckner (I'm not sure of his title) agrees. Kanin and Taylor can't believe what they are hearing. What would the public think of this action? Not to mention they cannot give in to terrorist's demands or they will be overwhelmed with other terrorists demands. Also, they have no way of knowing if the terrorists will stick to their word or not. Taylor decides against it and tells them to get to work to prepare for the worst.

Dana wants Chloe to give her the NYPD coordinates. She calls Samir and tells him she will have them soon. He tells her he believes that Taylor will give in. His bomb maker tells him the bomb is ready. General "asshole" Bruckner takes Weiss aside and tells him about his plan to hand over Hassan. He tells Weiss that he will do a covert operation that makes it look like Hassan was taken hostage, that way; the public will not look poorly on the Presidents administration. Weiss isn't really buying it, and Bruckner tells him that what the President is doing is illegal and it is their job to protect the country. He needs Hassan's evacuation plan, but Weiss doesn't have it, Kanin does. Weiss tells him that Kanin will never go along with it. They will have to take it instead. The two men sneak into Kanin's office and begin to download the information. However, Kanin catches them in the act. Bruckner blocks his ability to leave the office and Kanin tries to dial Jack. Jack can hear nothing and Weiss hangs up the phone. Suddenly Kanin clutches his chest and falls over. He is having a heart attack. He reaches for his pills but they fall out. Weiss gets a pill to him but they aren't helping. Weiss wants to call an ambulance, but Bruckner stops him. He tells them they will call an ambulance once the operation is complete and hopefully Kanin will last that long. At CTU, Dana calls Samir with the NYPD routes to avoid when bringing in the bomb.

Jack tries to call Kanin back in the evacuation tunnel but he doesn't answer. He calls the operator and she cannot locate him either. Jack knows that something is not right. Buckner calls his black ops team and tells him to whatever is necessary to get Hassan. Jack and the detail are 200 yards from the evacuation vehicle (this is the longest tunnel ever, doesn't make sense) and the black opt team is set up. Jack tries Kanin again, but ends up getting Weiss. Weiss tells him Kanin is busy but Jack insists that he was calling with someone important. Weiss yells at Jack to do his job and hangs up on him. Jack knows now that something is not right. He tells the detail to turn back that they are going back to the U.N. The black ops team figure out what they are doing and begin to close in, taking out agents as they approach. Jack pulls Hassan to the side and Renee gets Kayla and Dalia. They fight there way back down the tunnel taking out black ops on the way.

Hassan sees the secret service being shot down and wants to help Jack. He reminds him that he was an army officer himself. Jack tells him no, that he needs to get to his family. Kayla of course falls and twists her ankle and the group has to huddle up. Jack gives Hassan a gun and tells him to protect his family. Jack tosses a smoke bomb and while Renee lets gunfire spray he slips into the smoke and starts to take out the bad guys. One of the men are about to shoot Jack, but Hassan shoots him instead. He manages to get the head of the team taken down, Bishop. He unmasks him and realizes that he is American. Bishop tells Jack what is going on and that they have to get Hassan to the terrorists before the bomb goes off in the next 20 minutes. Jack tells him that he only takes orders from the President and takes Bishop with them as they head back to the U.N.

Samir calls Dana who tells him that Hassan was being taken to the Air Force base in NJ. Samir realizes that Taylor has no intention of giving up Hassan. Dana tells him that if he uses the bomb that he'll lose all leverage. Samir hangs up on her and calls Tarin. Tarin took the place of driver when Ali was killed. He is now in position in a van with the bombs. Samir tells him to start the countdown and that he will never be forgotten and his family will be honored. Tarin starts the clock and it is at 15 minutes. Tarin also looks like he is about to either pass out; vomit or hopefully he is just rethinking this whole bad idea.

4AM-5AM

Well.....didn't see that one coming

CTU is a complete mess, and with the radiological detectors down, the terrorists have a free pass into the city. Jack calls his buddy Phil Holden at NSA and he can't access satellite for them, but gets the traffic cameras up and shuts down all incoming and outgoing traffic. The only way into the city is across the East River, so Jack and Cole head that way. Hastings has Kayla sent back to the UN so that she can be evacuated with her family, but first he tells her the bad news....lover boy is still alive and set her up to destroy CTU and die. He also wants her to help CTU identify the men that were holding her hostage.

At the waterfront Samir is told that an unmarked SUV is approaching. He tells his people to get into sniper positions and take everyone out. Cole sees a flash of a heat source and realizes that they have been spotted. Jack tries to call NSA, but the terrorists have scrambled their communication. The SUV takes on fire and the tires are blown out blocking it back up against a wall. As the windows start to crack, Jack, Cole and the two CTU agents get out and start firing back, taking refuge with the cars bullet proof doors. Tarin realizes that one of the men is Jack. He tells Ali not to underestimate him. Samir and Tarin take the rods across the river and Samir tells Ali to make sure everyone dies. Cole sees the boat leaving. They need to call NYPD, but with the phones scrambled they need to reach a call box across the parking lot, in the line of fire. Jack decides to take the doors off the SUV and use them as shields to make their way across.

Frank Haynam arrives at CTU and is there to fix the servers. He is a senior engineer at NSA and helped design the place. He is a real prick and only wants to use his own men. He tells Hastings that Jack called them but they haven't been able to reach him since. Chloe is worried and asks Hastings to send men out to search for him. Hastings tells her that they don't have the man power. He wants her to go see if Haynam needs anything. Chloe goes to Haynam and lets him know that she has a faster way to get things back up. They can tap into the trunk line. Haynam balks at this idea and tells her that there are too many things that can go wrong. Chloe tries to argue, but he shuts her down and sends her on her way. Chloe calls Renee who is hanging out at Jack's apartment. She gives her the 411 and Renee sets off to look for Jack. Renee also tells Chloe to do what she has to do to get the NSA to listen to her idea.

Dana goes to Bill Prady and lets him know that unfortunately the EMP wiped out all of the files and that the tape has been destroyed. Prady, being the tenacious annoyer asks about backups. Dana tells him they are destroyed as well. She wishes him luck and sends him on his way. Chloe goes back to the server room and once again tries to reason with Haynam. This time however when he shoos her away, Chloe pulls out a gun. She threatens to shoot him if he and his men don't leave. She locks the door behind them and gets to work. Haynam calls security. Jack and the men start to make their away across the lot. King, one of the CTU agents starts to freak out and thinks that the door won't hold. Jack tells him to keep it together but he makes a break for it. He is shot and the others run for cover. Jack tells Owen, the other agent, that they have to leave him. Owen can't and runs after him. Both men are shot and eventually die. Jack and Cole are now sitting ducks.

Kayla is brought to her parents as they are being readied to head to an underground tunnel. It will protect them if a nuclear weapon is detonated in the city. President Taylor and the other delegates are waiting. Hassan begins to doubt the peace agreement and tells Dalia that he almost lost everything over it. Dalia persuades him to believe that he is doing well, and not to turn his back now. Hastings men drill through the door and Haynam and Hastings confront Chloe. Haynam is busy yelling and throwing a tantrum and Hastings tells him to back off. Chloe explains her plan and begs for 10 more minutes. If it doesn't work then he can arrest her. Hastings, finally not being an asshole, gives her the go ahead and gets everyone out of the room. Interestingly, when asked for her opinion, Dana says that it is too dangerous as well. Chloe gets to work. Outside of the server room, Hastings is told that a parole officer Prady is there to see him. Dana overhears that Hastings will meet with him in fifteen minutes.

Chloe tells Hastings she ready to fire it up and if she doesn't electrocute herself it should work. There is a brief spark but then all is restored. Hastings tells Haynam to go see if Chloe needs any help and to be civil this time. Chloe tells Hastings to find Renee because she went looking for Jack. Jack has a plan to get Cole to the phone. He will run out and draw their fire allowing Cole to make it to the phone. Cole objects over the suicide mission, but Jack pulls rank and tells Cole to make sure Hastings keeps his promise about Renee. Jack dashes out and is shot down, but Cole makes it to the phone. As Ali has Jack's head in his sites, he is shot in the head, by Renee. She and Cole take out the remaining men. Renee rushes to Jack who has been hit in his vest. He is having trouble breathing, but seems to be okay. He tells her that the rods are headed to the city. Cole tells Jack that NYPD is sending choppers. Renee realizes that Jack has a collapsed lung.

Arlo passes on Coles call to Hastings. He wants NYPD to set a perimeter around the lake. He begins to thank Chloe, but she cuts him and tells him she isn't good with praise.

And now things get interesting....Dana goes to confront Prady again. She wants to know why he just won't leave. He tells her that he knows that she helped Kevin. If she turns herself in now, things will go a lot easier. Dana suddenly kicks him in the gut and gets cable around his neck. With fury, she chokes him to death. Very calmly she puts his body into a vent (yeah, that won't emit an odor) and calls....SAMIR. She tells him that CTU is back up and she has been trying to preserve her cover. Samir needs help getting to the other side of the river. She tells him that she will get him out.

3AM-4AM

Jack is on his way to the hotel to get Tarin and Kayla. The NYPD have set up a perimeter and are not taking demands from Jack too well. Tarin gets a call from Samir and knows that he may have been compromised. Kayla is locked in the bathroom and refuses to come out, trying to stall. Tarin sees a police officer run by out the window and breaks into the bathroom, grabbing Kayla and dragging her out. Sergeant Amis takes it upon his self to go into the hotel but Tarin gets the drop on them and shoots the agents. He gets a comm and tries to impersonate an officer, but Jack is listening in and knows that he is lying and warns the other officers.

Tarin and Kayla get into a cab in the alley and speed off. Cole and Jack follow as Chloe leads them after them. They find the cab abandoned in an underpass and Jack knows that the terrorists will be calling Hassan next. Meanwhile, Samir is on the phone with a bomb maker who wants to know where the rods are. Samir tells him that they are outside the city and that they have not been able to disable the radiation detectors but that he has a plan. Dana meets with Prady at CTU. She tells him that she did meet Kevin at a bar, got drunk and slept with him. She tells him she lied because she is supposed to get married and felt terrible about what she did. Prady wants to know if she knows Nick, but she tells him no. Prady notices how uncomfortable Dana is and presses on and lets her know that he knows about the break in at the evidence holding building. Dana tries to get him to leave but he wants to wait till she has more time to talk.

Jack and Cole meet with Hassan and Dalia is pissed. She wants to know how Kayla could have been kidnapped. Hassan reminds her that it was their own people who did it. Jack wants to monitor his phone calls and they set it up. Samir calls Hassan and demands he give him File 33. Hassan claims to have no knowledge of it. Samir puts Kayla on the video and comes up behind her with a mask and begins to suffocate her with a plastic bag. He tells Hassan he has fifteen minutes to give him File 33 or Kayla dies. Reluctantly Hassan shows Jack the contents of File 33. It is data collected over the years by spies on the nuclear security of the U.S. Jack tells him that he can't hand over the information and that he brought it on himself. Chloe chimes in and tells them they have a lead on where Kayla is, near a train station. Jack and Cole head out and Hastings sends another team to cover from the air. Jack tells Hassan that when he gets the call back to send a fake file and stall.

At the bank near the station Tarin tells Samir that killing Kayla was not part of the plan and that Hassan will never give up the file. Samir tells him to stay strong or he will get someone else to deal with Kayla. Tarin can't even look her at her. Jack and Cole are minutes away. Arlo tells them they have 30 seconds before the terrorists call back and is then interrupted by Prady walking around. Dana heads over to deal with him and leads him back to the holding room. He wants the tapes that CTU has during the break in. Dana agrees knowing that it will implicate her. She calls Cole and tells him that its over. He tells her to wait for him, but she doesn't want to get him in anymore trouble she starts to cry and tells Cole that she loves him and hangs up. Jack asks Cole if he is okay and he tells him yes.

The deadline has arrived and Tarin starts to lead Kayla back to the vault. She begs him not to do it and that she knows that he loves her. Tarin hesitates and then tells her to run. Samir's men start to give chase but Tarin gets keys and makes it to a car. He tells Kayla to call CTU and that she must get there. He turns around and is shot dead by one of Samir's men. Kayla screams but keeps it together to get in the driver's seat and drive away. Kayla calls CTU and tells them that she doesn't know where she is and that she wants her dad to know that Tarin died trying to save her. Jack and Cole get to the bank but it is deserted. They find a tunnel system and Arlo gets the drones on the exits. He sees Samir and two men exit. Hastings congratulates everyone for a good job, especially Dana. Arlo gets facial recognition on one of the men before they get in the car and he realizes that it's Tarin. He is still alive! Samir tells Tarin that he did a good thing and that Kayla will die for a good cause.

Jack realizes that it is a set up and that Kayla's care must have a bomb in it and she is headed straight for CTU. Hastings tells Jack that it's too late that her car is in the tunnel. Jack tells Chloe to not lose Samir in the car. Kayla is yanked from the car and the bomb is located with 10 seconds left on it. It's an EMP. Jack tries to get Chloe to shut down the drones so that they won't be lost but there isn't enough time. A security guard tries to move the car but it is too late, the bomb goes off shattering glass and sending everyone flying. Arlo loses Samir and the lights flicker and then go out. The terrorists have taken out CTU. Jack loses communication and he tells Cole to call NSA

2AM-3AM

First off my apologies for missing last weeks recap, but I was out of town and my DVR decided to only record 2 minutes of the episode. So I did not get to see the episode myself. However, from the "previously on 24" clip, I gathered that there is a dude wearing an explosive vest who is now locked in an oxygen chamber and threatening to blow himself up, Tarin is in bed with Kayla somewhere swanky, and Cole and Dana dispose of Kevin's body. Moving on.

So Marco (dude with the vest) is trying to reconfigure his vest so that he can blow himself up. He has already gotten one circuit back on track and has three to go. The team tells Jack that it will take 40 minutes to get in door open (my boyfriend kept saying "it's an oxygen chamber, lower the oxygen till he passes out", he has a point) but this is 24, wouldn't be any fun to do it that way. Jack tells the team to hurry because they need him alive. Chloe lets Jack know that Marcos is from Harlem, that his mother is American, his Father is IRK and that his father committed suicide after four months of interrogation for extremist activities. After his fathers death is when Marcos began spying on the U.S. Jack tells Hastings that they need to get his mother there ASAP.

Cole and Dana are on the elevator heading down into the CTU dungeon and she is begging Cole to say something about what happened even if it's that he hates her. Cole tells her that they will talk after things at work are taken care of, but that he wouldn't have done what he did if he didn't still love her. Hastings is waiting for them and tells them that they are walking on thin ice. Cole is to retrieve Marcos's mother and Dana is now under Chloe. Ali is talking to Samir and lets him know that he is going to tap into the system off of CTU to be able to watch Marcos progress. The rods are being brought into the warehouse and there is a plan to get them into Manhattan and part of that plan is to shut down CTU's radiation sensors.

Dana gets back to work and is making some small mistakes. Chloe tells her to get it together, but also tells her that she is glad she didn't get fired. Arlo also apologizes for telling Cole about the other guy. Dana doesn't say much except tells Arlo that he is gone when Arlo asks if the other guy is still around. Skeezy Arlo is shameless in his attempts to start hitting on Dana again. Jack is finally able to talk to Marcos and tries to get him to come out, but Marcos tells him no, that America does not have the right to dictate who can and cannot have nuclear weapons. He refers to Kamistan as his country, even though he is American. He ignores Jack and goes back to work and completes the second out of four circuits to his vest.

Tarin and Kayla are hanging out in the hotel and he tells her that he will get asylum for them, but it may take up to 18 months and he will not be able to get a job during that time. Kayla tells him that she doesn't care. Her cell phone starts to ring and she goes to answer the call from her mother but Tarin grabs the phone and tells her to wait until they have asylum. Dalia leaves a message and meets Hassan with tears in her eyes. She tells him that it is his fault that Kayla ran off, and Hassan tells her he will do whatever to get her back. Cole shows up at the house of Marcos mother. She is packing to leave and she tells Cole that she got a call from Marcos telling her to get out of NY. Cole tells her that her son is working for the IRK and is about to blow himself up. She goes with Cole to talk to Marcos. Meanwhile, Dana apologizes to Hastings again, and gets call from Prady who is Kevin's probation officer. Prady tells her he can't find Kevin and she tells him that she doesn't know him. Prady calls her out and tells her that he has phone records of Kevin calling her number; he wants to meet with her. Dana finally agrees and calls Cole, who tells her she needs to handle it, that she is good at lying.

Elaine goes to Marcos and begs him to stop. She tells him that his father would not condone violence. He has three circuits complete. He tells her to go away and Samir and Ali agree that she will not be able to talk him down as they watch on. Elaine gets no where but Chloe realizes that someone has tapped into their system and is watching Marcos. Chloe gets the tap cut and Jack goes to talk to Marcos as he completes the fourth circuit. Jack tells him to go ahead and blow himself up, but if he does then he will make sure his mother dies. Marcos does not believe him, but Jack tells him that he will personally escort his mother to the dirty bomb site and expose her to the radiation. Marcos clearly believes Jack as he drops the detonator and walks out of the chamber.

Samir sees Marcos surrender through binoculars and initiates the failsafe. The countdown on the vest Marcos is wearing starts. Jack tries to disarm the bomb but he can't do it. He begs Marcos to give him a name, and Marcos tells him Tarin. He tells Jack to tell Elaine that he loves and then throws himself back into the oxygen chamber. The blast kills Marcos and throws Jack into the wall. After Jack pulls himself together he calls Hassan and lets him know about Tarin. Hassan explains that Kayla is with him and that they are together as a couple. Dalia immediately gets on the phone and starts calling Kayla again. Tarin has gotten in the shower, so Kayla answers the phone. Dalia tells her about Tarin and finally convinces her of the truth. Kayla breaks down and gives up their location.

Tarin catches Kayla hang up the phone and she tells him that she just wanted to reassure her mother so she would stop calling and that she didn't tell her where she was. Tarin tells her to get dressed that they have to leave. Kayla tries to stall, but Tarin pushes her to get ready. She goes into the bathroom and locks the door and begins to panic. Cole tells Jack that CTU can be there in 20 minutes but Jack tells him to have NYPD go because they can get there faster, and he tells Cole to remind them that Tarin has to be taken alive.

12AM-1AM

Knowing that Josef has the rods and a plan to give them to Farhad, Jack has daddy call up son. Bazhaev finally convinces Josef that he should return the rods. As Josef is leaving, Farhad and his men see it happening. Josef is shot and killed by Samir. Chloe gets a trace on the cell but Samir crushes it before they can get any more information. They do however hear Farhad's voice before the cell is destroyed. Bazhaev is being brought to CTU for questioning. Jack calls Renee and she tells him that she is still claiming self-defense. Jack tells her that he will be there soon. Weiss calls Hastings and tells him that someone has to take the fall for the mess up that has occurred. Weiss can't let it be Hastings because he got him the job and if Hastings goes down then Weiss will as well. Weiss thinks that it should be Renee. Hastings has a moment of nice guy syndrome and objects, but Weiss tells him that Kristin Smith from the Justice Department is on her way to handle things.

Since Cole and his team have nothing to do for the time being, Cole asks Arlo to track down Dana using her phone's GPS. Dana is still following Kevin and Nick who are now getting dirty with some strippers in the back of their van (classy). Hastings also wants Arlo to track down Dana and let him know when she is found. Meanwhile, Kristin has arrived and doesn't care what Hastings has to say. She wants the interview info restricted but she wants a copy of it herself. She thinks there are discrepancies between the statement and the forensic evidence. Chloe is upset that she can't be in the room to advocate for Renee, but Hastings hands are tied and he tells her to back down. Samir takes Farhad to a warehouse where they meet with a man named Ali. Ali tells them that they cannot get the rods out of the country. Samir and Ali suggest they use them in the U.S. Farhad doesn't think this is a good idea, because the U.S. will simply retaliate by invading Kamistan. Samir tells him that America will always be their enemy and that these peace meetings are to keep Hassan in power.

Kristin is interrogating Renee at CTU. Renee tells her she acted in self-defense. Kristin points out that Renee stabbed him fifteen times and that sounds more like revenge. She also brings up how she almost killed Alan Wilson, which is what got her fired from the FBI in the first place. Renee begins to break down and Kristin tells her to do the right thing. Renee starts to sign the confession. Hastings is watching from the monitor and still seems to be wary of letting this go down. Jack arrives at CTU (uh oh), and Chloe tells him about Renee being questioned. Jack realizes immediately that she is being set up. Jack takes out the guard at the holding room and barges in. He pins Kristin against the wall and asks her how she could do this. He tells Renee that she is being set up but she tells him it's too late. Jack grabs her arm and tells her they are leaving. The guard has come to and points a gun at Jack and Jack tells him to back down before he gets hurt but as Jack passes by the guard, he is tasered and he and Renee are both in custody now.

Farhad learns that Ali does not have a detonator for the rods. He offers to call a professor he knows who can build one. As Ali leads him to a secure line to make the call, Farhad attacks and tries take Ali out. Ali manages to get it together and stabs Farhad in the thigh. Farhad takes off running. Jack is meeting with Hastings and tells him that it's pretty shitty that CTU is now throwing their own under the bus. Hastings tells him that they are just asking her questions but Jack knows he is lying. Jack tells him that he is going to take this up with Taylor. Hastings tells him good luck seeing as how Taylor sent her own daughter to jail. Chloe interrupts to tell them Farhad is on the phone. Farhad tells them what is about to go down and wants protection. Hastings wants Cole to lead the rescue team but he is nowhere to be found. Hastings puts Owens in charge. Dana waits as the strippers finally leave the van. She gets out and heads towards the van with her gun. Cole pulls up and stops her. He makes her get in the car and demands to know what is going on because he thinks she is sleeping with Kevin. Dana takes a deep breath and begins to tell him her story, starting with her real name.

Ali is busy hunting Farhad while Samir makes arrangements for the rods to go to a secure location. Owen has decided to send in three teams as he believes that the rods will still be close to Farhad. One team will get Farhad, one team will find the rods and the third team for backup. Though Owen is new, he believes this plan will be an in and out. Jack tells him that he is wrong, that the rods will be long gone which makes this plan unstable. Jack offers to help with the Farhad situation on the condition that Hastings drops the charges against Renee. Hastings says that he can't do this because the White House initiated it. Jack tells him that he has more pull than he thinks he does, he is the director of CTU. Hastings tells him okay, but only if Jack stays and sees out the entire situation. Jack agrees. So much for LA anytime soon.

Dana confesses everything to Cole. He sees her gun and realizes that she was going to kill Kevin and Nick. He is angry and decides to take matters into his own hands. He approaches the van and holds the two at gun point. He tells them that he will either call the cops and they will be arrested, charged and convicted or that they can take the money, leave and never come back again, and if they do, he'll kill them both. Kevin agrees to leave. Nick doesn't like this idea and pulls out a knife and a gun. Kevin tells them that they are done and to give it up and Nick stabs him in the belly. As Nick stalks after Dana and Cole, Kevin calls out "Jenny" and Cole turns and shoots Nick, killing him. Dana runs to Kevin and consoles him as he tells her he is sorry and Cole looks on.

11PM-12AM

Arlo is convinced that Dana is cheating on Cole after she takes another phone call from Kevin. Kevin and his buddy are at a strip club spending the money and he tells Dana that they have a new partnership. Dana tells him no, but loser buddy gets on the phone and threatens her. Chloe covers for Dana in the debriefing, and then tells her she needs to get her personal and work like together because they need to help Jack. Speaking of Jack, he is brought before Bazhaev and Jack tries to make a $250 million dollar deal with him. He is still pretending to be the German arms dealer and he tells Bazhaev that his people intercepted the information from Farhad. Bazhaev doesn't believe him because he won't tell him who he is working for and thinks he is a cop. He tells Dimitri to make Jack talk. When Josef comes back from burying Oleg, daddy gives him Oleg's cross and tells him to never forget his brother.

Hastings lets Taylor know that Jack's whereabouts are unknown but that believes he is alive since he wasn't killed on the spot. Samir who works for Farhad calls him and wants to know the status of the rods. Samir tells him that he got word from General Wasim that Hassan's crackdown has increased and soon there will be no insurgents on the streets. Farhad tells him the rods will be there soon. Bazhaev and Josef arrive and tell him that the rods will be delivered later than expected because they have to figure out who the German is. Farhad is not happy with this, and Josef puts a gun to his head and tells him he is being ungrateful. Bazhaev seems impressed that Josef is defending him after he killed Oleg. They tell Farhad that he can go wait with his own people. Renee gets back to CTU and finds a very pissed off Hastings waiting for her. He wants to know what happened, why she didn't say anything about her suicide attempt. He orders a full report and a psych eval for Renee. Dana tells Cole they need to talk. She tells him that there are things about her past that she didn't tell him. Cole tells her that it doesn't matter. He gets pulled away by Hastings before Dana can finish telling him.

Kayla is finally able to talk to her father. She tells him that Tarin is innocent and then confesses to him that she is in love with him and they have been seeing each other for over a year. Hassan is furious and believes that Tarin has been using Kayla to influence him. He orders Kayla to never see him again. Kayla asks her father what is happening to him. Meanwhile, Jack is being tortured by electrocution and Dimitri sticking his fingers in his stab wound (I think we've seen this before....). Jack plays dead and when Dimitri comes back he manages to kick Dimitri into the current so that he electrocutes himself (seen this before too). Jack swings up and starts shimming down the pipe till he can break free. He kills Dimitri. Jack makes it upstairs and hears Bazhaev say that he is giving the rods to Farhad no matter what. Jack kills the fuse box and takes out the majority of the guys who come at him. Bazhaev finally approaches, but Jack gets the upper hand on him as well. Back at CTU Dana has left and Arlo tells Cole she has to reboot from another station. Chloe gets intel on Bazhaev and she and Renee are both relieved that Jack is okay. Jack tells Bazhaev that it's over, but if he cooperates that he can help him. Bazhaev breaks down and tells Jack that he killed his own son for nothing, and then he tells Jack that he'll do whatever for full immunity for himself and Josef.

Jack talks to Taylor and Hastings and they decide that immunity is the best way to go since they are running out of time. Taylor talks directly to Bazhaev. Dana has stepped out again and Cole wants to know what Arlo has been trying to imply. He shows him the pictures of her and Kevin in the parking lot. Cole wants a cell trace, but when he calls she doesn't answer. Dana has gone to the strip club to find Kevin and Nick and there is a gun in her purse. Cole leaves a message and then heads out with the SWAT team. Kayla tries to see Tarin but Nabeel blocks her. Kayla reminds him that Tarin got him the job and he tells Kayla he'll try to arrange a few minutes for them to see each other.

Cole and the SWAT team arrive at the truck holding the rods. When they open the doors, they find the guards shot dead and the rods missing. Hastings calls Jack and he puts him on speaker phone in front of Bazhaev. He swears that it is the correct truck and that he was telling the truth. Hastings relays that they also found a necklace, a gold cross. Bazhaev becomes pale and tells Jack that it is Josef's necklace from Oleg. Josef it turns out double crossed daddy and is on his way to deliver the rods to Farhad. He tells Farhad to have his money ready.
